Customer Reviews

Royal Canin Instinctive 7+ Thin Slices in Gravy Canned Cat Food is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decision pending. This is not my decision but rather that of my cat and so far I am not sure whether he likes it. He slurps up the sauce and leaves some of the food and hasn't shown any great enthusiasm for it but he's only had a few cans so far. I will have a better idea about his decision after he's had further servings of the food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't cut the grade My two boys will eat just about anything, but this particular Royal Canin did not wow them, surprisingly because this line is one of their favorites .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product for sensitive tummies My cat gets loose stools once in a while (after some big changes like family travel, etc). So I keep them handy. Great product for sensitive kitties.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cats Eat It Royal Canin is my cat food of choice. I have fed the dry food always to my cats. They love it and I have tried several types. I decided to try the canned Instinctive + 7 due to my previous experiences with Royal Canin. One of my cats is overweight and I want him to lose weight. I was told canned food was the best way. The cat seems to be losing but it's too early to tell. The problem is that both my cats do not eat the entire portion. I give them a 3 oz can for both and split it into four portions, which I feed spaced two hours apart. Both cats eat a bit during each of the feedings but leave about half uneaten. I end up throwing out about half of a 3 oz can. This is expensive. I imagine it's because they don't love the taste. I will keep feeding to see if the fat cat loses the weight and will then switch back to dry food, which I never have to throw out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My picky cats love this I have two half-Persian cats, who both have very sensitive stomachs. They are 7 years old (brother and sister). My boy is the picky one, and my girl is the one who throws up many foods. This is one of the only cans of food that both of them love, and neither of them get sick from. They can't eat any "fast food" brands (fancy feast, friskies, meow mix, sheba) or they will both throw up.. Plus they are my babies, so I want them around and healthy for as long as possible. This is a great food and their health and happiness is worth every penny. I will also only feed them Royal Canin hard food (Persian is their favorite).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Food for Your Best Friend I've been feeding my cat this food his whole life. His skin/coat and general health remain excellent even though he is now a senior citizen. He loves this flavor as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cats won't eat it My cats are on Royal Canin prescription dry food and they love it so I thought they'd eat the canned food. They take a few bites and walk away.
