Rated 4 out of 5 by lilysmama Vet's recommendation, spot on
The jury is still out on exactly what is going wrong for Lily. . . but there is no doubt that the Royal Canin Vet Diet is a hit. Lily prefers it over the canned food that her companion, Mouse likes. She is still thin, but the digestive problems seem much less and she is actually eager to eat, twice a day. I wish I could get a discount on this product (hint hint), because the vet bills are stiff and we're not out of the woods yet. Keep the fingers crossed for my 16 year old Lilybelle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aungie Our cat loves this dry food
Since Nov 2015 our cat was losing weight, barfing copious amounts of food and liquid. One vet put him on Hill's dry and wet food (I/d#. He didn't like the wet food. When he ate the dry food, we realized he was drinking a lot of water, then, his tummy would bloat and within 1 to 2 days, he threw all of it up. A friend suggested we soak the dry food to soften it up #took 1 3/4 to 2 hours! Then, he didn't want it. The 3rd vet recommended this cat food and he loves it. So far, he hasn't thrown up BUT, he is still on a steroid pill every 3 days so I'm not totally convinced it's just the food YET. Hoping! Also, just to see, we soaked the dry food, it only takes about 30 minutes to soften #big difference) although we don't have to soften this food; he can eat as is. Thank goodness he likes it because he is now regaining his weight back. I know this food is helping him but will upgrade to excellent once he's off the steroids and I see if it really works. BYB, the vet thinks he has irritable bowel syndrome.

Since my cat has several food allergies, my vet has recommended this food. So far, my cat likes it. He's energetic and happy. If he's happy, I'm happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Royal My 12 year old loves his rabbit and peas! For a pet food, it smells like it would taste good to the pet.
Matthew was diagnosed recently with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The first hypoallergenic food from another company, recommended by my regular vet, disagreed with him, but Matthew's internist (yes, my cat now has an internist) gave me a sample of the RC/PR. It took him a few days to warm up to it, maybe because he still wasn't feeling well, but now, what a difference! His appetite has returned big time, and he is ready to eat the RC/PR whenever I put it in his bowl. (Note: He has also been on steroids and B12 injections, but we're in the process of weaning him off both.). Thank you Royal Canin for making a food that my "kitty boy" really, really enjoys!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mole Good food for dermatology issues
Our cat has some unknown allergy so we are doing a food trial, the PR is easy to transition to, its got some 'gravy' goo and has been easy for our cat to transition from his favorite food (wet and dry). Crossing our fingers it works.
Chewy was great to work with and easy to get the pre-planned shipments too so we won't run out!
