Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PR Dry Cat Food is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 118.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our cat loves this dry food Since Nov 2015 our cat was losing weight, barfing copious amounts of food and liquid. One vet put him on Hill's dry and wet food (I/d#. He didn't like the wet food. When he ate the dry food, we realized he was drinking a lot of water, then, his tummy would bloat and within 1 to 2 days, he threw all of it up. A friend suggested we soak the dry food to soften it up #took 1 3/4 to 2 hours! Then, he didn't want it. The 3rd vet recommended this cat food and he loves it. So far, he hasn't thrown up BUT, he is still on a steroid pill every 3 days so I'm not totally convinced it's just the food YET. Hoping! Also, just to see, we soaked the dry food, it only takes about 30 minutes to soften #big difference) although we don't have to soften this food; he can eat as is. Thank goodness he likes it because he is now regaining his weight back. I know this food is helping him but will upgrade to excellent once he's off the steroids and I see if it really works. BYB, the vet thinks he has irritable bowel syndrome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cat food is a life saver! My 10 yr old cat became very sensitive to his regular cat food and was throwing up and losing weight. We tried several brands until my vet recommended the PR. My cat loves it and best of all, he stopped getting sick and is gaining weight again! It is expensive but worth it to save my cat and my carpet! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Prices A friend told me about Chewy.com so I looked at the prices and was very impressed. I normally pay $69.99 at the local pet store for the 8.8# Royal Canin Adult PR but with my first order on the autoship program it was only $44.83. They gave me 20% off for the first order but subsequent orders will still save me $19.13 per bag and the shipping is free. Can't beat it! They also called my vets office to get a approval since it was a prescription food. I highly recommend Chewy.com

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY PLEASED We have a cat that has food allergies, and we usually purchase our food through our local vet clinic, because it is prescription food. Our vet was unable to get the prescription food from their supplier, so in a bind, I had luckily received a coupon from Chewy.com and said we would get 1-2 day shipping (it actually got here in like 4 days) but still in time before my cat ran out of food. Chewy.com was a LIFESAVER for us!!! Will be ordering again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cats love it! This is the only food that has provided some relief for our cat's food allergies. Both of our cats LOVE this food and never leave a kibble behind. Very pleased with ordering this food from Chewy.com. Our first order came in 26 hours from ordering, and their website is a breeze to worth with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rx select protein diet Royal Canin's select protein PR food (along with a prednisolone rx) has worked wonders for my cat with IBD. I also feed it to my second cat (per my vet, no reason she cat have it as well) to make life a little easier, and they both seem to love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat loves it Since my cat is overweight, I dole the food out in several small meals during the day. She absolutely loves it and prefers it to her canned food. She does not leave even one morsel behind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cats with allergies My kitty with a sensitive stomach handles this food just fine (and her companions eat it too, thankfully, since I free-feed). Expensive but worth it.
