  • Great food, great value

Our vet recommended we change our cat to this food. We got the initial bag from the vet, but wanted continue delivery through Chewy since we had loved using them in the past (great prices and amazing customer service!). Customer service was so quick and helpful in contacting our vet and getting the new prescription. Everything was done so quickly and smoothly on their end. The food is great for our cat and Chewy is affordable, convenient, and wonderful to work with!

  • Allergically challenged

I have two cats, one is allergic to everything. He had been eating duck and pea based food, but was switched to this rabbit based food. He seems less rashy and enjoys the food. My other cat has been foregoing his wet food for this food (and that is saying something) and as I was transitioning from the old food for the be, he would eat only the rabbit kibble out of his dish. He seems to be losing weight, and at 19+pounds, he can stand to lose some weight. Win-win for both my cats!

  • Saved our cat

Our cat has chronic pancreatitis. He was rapidly losing weight, vomiting at least once a day, diarrhea, and seemed to be in pain. Using the Royal Canon Vet. Diet, along with probiotic capsules, and regular B12 shots he has made fantastic progress. He still has rare vomiting episodes and every few months he will show signs of a pancreas flareup that can quickly be taken care of with a B12 injection.

  • Excellent Cat Food

    By on

My cat was placed on Iams Low Residue Veterinary Formula several years ago and this food was recommended by my veterinarian as a replacement when Iams stopped manufacturing their veterinary formulas. So far, it has been a smooth transition. My cat seems to love the food.

  • Didn't work for us :(

    By on

Our vet prescribed this formula for cat with GI issues (daily vomiting & soft smelly stools). Unfortunately it didn't help at all, and actually made our 2nd cat start to vomit as well. They may have developed an allergy to a particular protein. We switched them to natural balance salmon and they seem to be doing much better. This may be a high quality food and work for some cats, however it is extremely expensive and did not work for us.

  • Excellent product, convenient fast delivery

    By on

This Royal Canin prescription cat food is quite expensive and not available in stores. I am older and have difficulty getting out. Ordering from Chewy saved me almost $10.00 for a single bag, and the order arrived on my doorstep in 2 days...no lugging it in from the car. So, saved money, saved gas, no trip to the vet, and my cat food came to my door. Can't beat it.

  • No problems feeding this one!

    By on

I originally got this for my cat with digestive problems. Turns out she cannot tolerate the dry food but loves the wet version of this food. So I started giving the dry version to the other cat and she loves it. She has no problems, but I would like to give her high quality food to prevent problems.

  • Great Prices

    By on

A friend told me about Chewy.com so I looked at the prices and was very impressed. I normally pay $69.99 at the local pet store for the 8.8# Royal Canin Adult PR but with my first order on the autoship program it was only $44.83. They gave me 20% off for the first order but subsequent orders will still save me $19.13 per bag and the shipping is free. Can't beat it! They also called my vets office to get a approval since it was a prescription food. I highly recommend Chewy.com

  • Speedy Service

My cat suffers from food allergies so her diet is limited. We vary the flavor of food from Royal Canon. Chewy always surprises me with the speed of delivery.
