Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal High Energy HE Dry Cat Food is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from no more diarrhea! My kitten was prescribed this food along with the canned version for chronic diarrhea. It took her a couple days to take to the dry food, but now she is devouring it! Since being on the new diet, she also hasn't had any more diarrhea. Very happy with this food despite the cost, as it's worth it to no longer have to deal with my kitten getting upset stomach all the time. I purchased my first bag from the vet, but will likely be getting it from Chewy from now on with their convenient autoship feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth waiting for results... was my experience. My kitty-child had chronic diarrhea when she was prescribed this food. It took 2 years, but finally, she no longer has diarrhea. I believe it took so long because she also had regular soft food because she has a couple of brothers and sisters and wanted to eat all the same things they were. So, all got the same soft food and the Rx food was their dry food. All seemed to like it. Thanks. cp

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is to replace an old food that has been discontinued. I spoke with a man from Chewy and this is what he recommended for my cat since her old food was being discontinued. My cat took to this food really well. I think she is doing better in this food then the old one. Besides the food working really well for her, the customer service is excellent - thank you Chewy!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sensitive stomach food We went through different non-RX than RX foods. This one is the best. A cat with a sensitive stomach (likely IBS) and a normal cat both eat this food. They also eat a Royal Canin canned food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great food great service I normally purchased this Rx food from my vet - but it always meant a special trip. Chewy.com is priced about the same and the convenience is priceless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finicky Eater, Weight Loss Worries One of our cats was rejecting all cat foods, either by choice or his body rejected it after he had tried it. I had feared the worst, that we were losing him, because he had become nearly a skeleton and was losing everything we fed him. Our vet had prescribed antibiotics to no avail, and finally recommended we try this. Within a month, our skeletal baby had made a turnaround, was neither vomiting nor diarrheal, and began the slow road to recovery. After 2 months, he had gained more weight, his coat began to shine, he was grooming himself, and was nearly back to normal. This food is the reason he survived. He has energy again, and made a beautiful recovery. We'll never go back to lesser brands. His brother is also eating it and loving it. We couldn't be happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat loves this food! My older cat has had weight-loss issues for a while and was diagnosed with suspected inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I started this diet about a month ago, and my cat loves eating this food after having rejected several prescription diets from other brands. The small kibble size is also easier for him to digest since he has lost most of his teeth and can't chew well. He seems to be putting on weight and has healthier fecal output and less vomiting than before. I am very happy with this food and hope my cat continues to do well on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helps my cat and carpet! My cat has IBS and would throw up and have diahhrea like clockwork every two months. Vet bills were going through the roof. Since the vet recommended this food, kitty has been so much better! Requires vet approval so talk to your vet if you're looking for a good food for your finicky cat.
