Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PD Dry Cat Food is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome solution food! My rescue kitty Buffy, has extremely debilitating food allergies. It took getting blood tests, (which came up with she is Feline Infectious Peritonitis well) and such before my Vet recommended I try Royal Canin Protein Duck diet. The combination of her FIP and her food allergies, it was difficult to keep any weight on her, she was under 6 lbs and losing weight! It turns out that although she is desperately allergic to chicken, she is not allergic to duck! Even the smallest amount, (even just a lick) of chicken sends my Buffy into frenzied itching and chewing herself, to the point I have to give her an allergy pill, just to give her any peace. She was also losing her fur a lot!! After putting her on the Royal Canin PD for only a few days, she completely stopped being itchy and chewing on herself. After being on it for a few months, her coat is now beautiful and glossy, and she has gained weight and been able to maintain 7.5 lbs since we started the RCPD. She has been on this diet now for 1.5 yrs, I wouldn't feed her anything else!!!! Thank you Royal Canin, Love Buffy❤!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vet recommended Select Protein PD feline food My cat has developed a problem with possible IBS and the vet after extensive lab work, suggested we try a select protein diet to settle his system. He recommended the Royal Canin Feline Select Protein PD and so far it has made a great difference! My cat enjoys the food and it seems to sit well with his system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cat food ever! I have four Persians and one is highly allergic to chicken. Try to find a cat food that contains absolutely NO chicken ingredients! Well, this keeps them all healthy and happy. I've tried so many, some they wouldn't even touch. They love this stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent food for my 10 yr old cat Sweetie who was recently diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She is able to eat without throwing up now. Sweetie had been throwing up on a semi-regular basis for most of her 10 years, never anything serious....then 6 months ago she got really sick and could not quit throwing up. After extensive testing over several days at the vet, she was diagnosed with IBS and the vet recommended the Royal Canin PD diet. After not being able to eat for 5 days, we were concerned we would not be able to get her to eat again....but she immediately took to the Royal Canin PD. It was a success...she likes it and it is easy on her IBS. She has the occasional upset stomach, but not as frequently nor anything like the IBS attack she had. She is much happier and feeling better!
