Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelle1 Biggest Dry Food Bag!
You are able to buy the biggest bag of Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PD Dry Cat Food on the Chewy.com website. All local stores only carry the 8.5 pound bag - so a 17.6 pound bag is a great deal. This food works great for our cat who has IBS!

My Veterinarian suggested I try this product for my kitty and it has been a tremendous success. My little boy has been having difficulty with grain foods and this brand and type (without grains) seems to be helping him. I'm so glad I tried it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Tasty but ingredients are problematic
My vet prescribed this food as a way to determine whether my cat has food allergies. Actually, my vet originally prescribed the wet food, but felt my cat wasn't getting enough calories so she suggested I also feed my cat a little dry food.
My cat liked the taste of this food. However, after buying the food, I realized the ingredients are problematic. First, a cat could be allergic to not only chicken, but to all poultry, so duck is not the best for an elimination diet. Second, this food has soy and fish oil - two other potential allergens.
As a result, I feel that this food was a waste of time and money. My cat still is allergic to something but this food did not help me figure it out what she is allergic to.
There are much better foods out there, like Hound and Gatos Pork formula, that are much cheaper and do not contain potential allergens.
