  • The best IBD food we've tried...hopefully it's the last!

    By on

We've tried all types of food trying to find one that my finicky 13 yr old orange guy will eat and that also won't make him sick. This one seems to be doing the trick so far (it's been 3 weeks). He ate the first can in an evening even though I tried to hold it back and add gradually he begged for it he was so hungry after being sick for a week straight with vomiting and diarrhea. This food worked so well though his chronic diarrhea was gone by the next day. Literally, gone. I've tried so many foods both wet and dry and none have worked this well. Highly recommend. Some complain that it can be dry (and it is a little bit drier than your typical wet food) but my guy doesn't seem to mind, We've tried all types of food trying to find one that my finicky 13 yr old orange guy will eat and that also won't make him sick. Although he does get extra excited about a fresh can that's nice and juicy. Chewy delivered in one day and cans were packaged with an extra cardboard box to keep them from being dented during shipping which was much appreciated as our mail carriers tend to chuck our boxes at the door. If you're feeling like you're out of options you should definitely give this food a try! … more

  • High Energy for cats who couldn't/wouldn't eat enough to keep from losing weight

    By on

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal High Energy HE Canned Cat Food is a great product for our gastro-sensitive 17-year old kitty. We mix it with water to make it easier for her to eat. When I take it from the refrigerator, as we feed her small portions throughout the day, I add some water, mix it up and stick it in the microwave for a few seconds. That takes the chill off - and - brings out the aroma/flavor further enticing her to eat. She is is responding well to this.

  • Super Service and Product!

    By on

Excellent service and products. We were using the Prescription Diet C/D, but had to make a change, as our cat couldn't tolerate it anymore. The Royal Canin High Energy is an excellent product, and our cat is not only tolerating it, but enjoying it. We always get our order promptly, within 1-2 days. The customer service is excellent, with caring individuals who really want to help. Thank you so much for you your excellent service and products!

  • My cats arent happy

    By on

When I changed my order I was just looking to get a bigger can of food for the cats. I didn't realize that the food changed from the "shredded" food to a paste in gel. The cats are eating it but they AREN'T happy. I'll be changing back to the smaller cans for my next order. We LOVE Chewy.com - we just aren't too crazy about this months food selection.

  • She loves the food AND it is making her feel better

    By on

My little old lady, Molly, had been getting worse and worse with digestive troubles. Up to the point I could hear her tummy rumbling if she was in the room with me. She loves the food and it definitely loves her (and I love a MUCH cleaner kitty box experience for her). The best is I think she is feeling a lot better, with a bit more pep in her step.

  • No More Diarrhea!

    By on

Our kitten had serious diarrhea due to IBS from her high dose of meds when she was rescued. Merrick food gave her awful diarrhea and vomiting due to her stomach sensitivity. This food brought her back to more solid poops, and when mixed with pumpkin it gave her the closest thing her IBS tummy can have to normal BMs.

  • Cat likes it and digests well

    By on

My cat was having digestive issues (loose stools) on an off since getting another cat. At this last vet visit, he was prescribed this one. He was already on sensitive stomach by royal canin but he seems to like this one better and hasn't had any problems since. He is 17 y/o. The only downside is the cost.

  • New everyday food for our cat

    By on

We adopted our cat from a shelter and he has had gastrointestinal issues since we brought him home. Our vet finally prescribed this food to see if it would help and it has dramatically! He also LOVEs the food, so much so that he now wakes me up at 5 am in hopes that I will feed him early.

  • Good Stuff

    By on

Ran out of dry so they sent me a case of wet food. Took about a week, but they like it now. I feed 4 cats with one can along with their fee feed dry. Give it a chance. Mine is made for older cats so ask what you should have before you order.

  • Helped my kittens chronic diarrhea

    By on

This is the only food my two kittens can eat without creating liquid chemical warfare. I keep trying to switch back slowly to something more affordable, but alas, their little digestive systems just will not hear of it
