  • RC Gastrointestinal diet

Amazingly this arrived in one day. After the normal "what's this stuff" reaction all three kitties are eating this well. Seems to be helping my one IBD kitty and that the lower calories take some weight off all of them. Very pleased with Chewy.

  • Nick of Time

Waited too long to order our cat's food thru the Vet. Manufacturing plant's IT department had been hacked. (Who wants to hack a pet food manufacturer?) The Vet suggested Chewy, we went online and presto...just a few days later our cat, Ozzie, was chomping away at his food. Thanks for the quick turnaround. Prices were comparable to the Vet too. Thanks much.

  • Cornish Rex approves

    By on

Our Cornish Rex is a bit overweight, suffers from separation anxiety, and will eat due to his anxiety causing him to become overweight. He also was throwing up quite a bit. We have 2 other Cornish Rex, who like this food, which is expensive but still cheaper than purchasing at the Vet's office. It has helped him cut back on overeating and throwing up. He is slimming down, and seems happier about being able to make the high jumps his brother and sister make! It is healthier for him too!

  • Sensitive stomach

    By on

My 14 year old cat started having trouble keeping any food or water down. He spent a while in the hospital and once he was released he was put on this food. It's been a life saver! He loves it and his digestion is almost back to normal. Chewy's delivery service was easy, super fast and cheaper than other sites I tried ordering from. I was so pleased I set up an auto delivery service with them. So happy.

  • Loved by Cats with Sensitive Stomachs

    By on

My five cats have been on Royal Canin Veterinary Formula Gastrointestinal Fiber Response, which worked to bring IBS under control for about four years. One sensitive cat was vomiting bile awaiting her breakfast and dinner. Switching to this GI moderate calorie has been gentler on her. The rest of them like it as well. I had intended to switch over eight days. But, they left the Fiber Response and ate only this dry food after five days. They also get canned food, which will be in another review. My vet has visited a Royal Canin facility, where the veterinary formulas are made separate from the over the counter brands, and was impressed.

  • Cats love this food!

    By on

My cat has tried many foods, including Purina and Nutrish. She has been finicky about all kinds of hard cat food until trying this food! She loves this food. My cats outside will also fight over this food - great for cats with gastrointestinal issues.

  • Loved this product over others

    By on

Our cats are older and need the gastrointestinal diet prescribed by our Vet. However, they were getting tired of the "fiber" version, so the vet prescribed this moderate calorie food even though neither is overweight. They love the taste and prefer it over their prior food. I understand that it is prepared a special way to give it more flavor because it has less calories. We have 2 happy cats so we are happy too! Chewy helped us get the updated Rx from our vet and so saved me lots of time. Many cudoos to them.

  • The Empress loves it!

    By on

I bought this cat food as a gift to a cat who's a close personal friend, although we don't live together. This fine elderly brown tabby was prescribed this food for a chronic gastrointestinal problem, and since she has been inhaling the stuff, she hasn't had a recurrence! This food doesn't give her any distress whatsoever. Admittedly, the Empress will eat anything, but she didn't have any problems settling into this new diet. According to her mum, she is eating it, gaining a bit of needed weight, and purring like she means it. A total success!
