Description

Grooming is an essential part of keeping your pet clean and healthy. Coastal Pet Products offers a full selection of Safari grooming tools that make this task quick and easy. One product that is essential for every household with pets is a flea comb. This comb can be used to make sure flea control products are working properly. In addition, the closely spaced teeth on a flea comb allow you to examine the overall condition of the coat. Dry skin that may appear after bathing is easily detected when using this flea comb. For pets with skin afflictions, dried blood collected in the fine teeth of this comb will alert your customer that their pet may have a rash, sore or other problem.

Safari Flea Comb for Cats is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This and DE are the only things working for my cats fleas. My outdoor kitty got fleas after being on Tritak (DO NOT BUY, it doesnt work!) I give the cat DE baths and comb him a couple times a day and the flea issues are nearly 100% gone. It just takes a little time and persistence. All natural though and that feels really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FLEATASTIC It works wonders and my furbabies love being combed. I comb both with the fur and the opposite direction, each time dipping the comb in light detergent warm water. They are purrfectly agreeable with this process. Not only do you remove any fleas but their fur is totally cleaned, like you bathed them. They have really enjoyed the results of this comb. When combing them be sure to have them on a white pillow case or towel so that you can see any fleas that try to flee. The idea is that with each combing dip the comb back in the water then pull out any fur/fleas and the dip again and then comb. I love this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Flea Comb Not sure why this is designated for cats but I use it on both my short haired dogs and it works great. Nothing like finding a tick crawling on your dog and being uncertain if there are more lurking around, after a good comb over with this it puts my mind at ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I didn't think this comb would work but I was wrong. Even though I use flea medication on my cats I was surprised when I combed them that there were fleas on the comb. I use it every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design Seems like a flea comb is a simple thing and could not be improved, but the handle on this one makes it much easier to use. Who knew?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! Love this flea comb 'cause it works... caught fleas that were missed by Four Paws extra fine teeth (not recommend 'cause the teeth are a bit too wide to effectively trap the fleas) Use this comb on both our cats and dog... doesn't hurt them 'cause teeth are smooth, seem sturdy enough to last, best part is the comb works 'cause the teeth are closed enough to trap fleas... highly recommend for both cats and dogs :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does good job This the double row comb, seems to trap actual fleas better. Both this and single row combs do find flea dirt. I just want the darned critters GONE. I have 2 cats and one cocker spaniel. Can't register that below. Dog was boarded with her bed and brought fleas home from Kennel. They took over before I knew what was going on. Have sprayed with Knock out....seems good....and have washed EVERY WASHABLE surface and item plus vacuum daily, and spraying all surfaces including under rugs and between mattresses. Expensive and exhausting, but after a month I think I'm getting ahead. Oh, Advantage topical on all three pets, too.
