  • Wasn't really worth it for my cats

    By on

I have 4 inside/outside cats, 2 huge male cats that are inside only and 4 kittens. Oh and a female Shih Tzu that may be pregnant so I can't treat her with anything other than like the capstar pills. Because of the inside outside cats, I started having a problem with fleas even though I vacuum twice daily and bathe my shih tzu weekly. Not wanting to spend the money to go to the vet and get their regular flea meds, I decided to give this brand a try. It did work for the first week or two but, after that the fleas came right back. Again, it could just be the number of cats and/or that I have 4 that are inside/outside cats that made this product not last as long as it states. But, the stuff at the vets office that runs me approx $100/yr/cat does work all month long so I've gone back to using that instead. Maybe too if I had used the capstar on all of the animals prior to application, this product would've been more effective. However, I feel like if a product states that it does something for a specified time, it should DO it THAT length of time. So, in my opinion, this is a cheap temporary alternative to the flea meds I get at the vets office. … more

  • Works great so far.

Just bought this product for my two outdoor kitties. The one cat had ticks on his neck when I applied it and the next day they were completely gone. Haven't seen any ticks on either of them since. Also love Chewy's customer service!

I live in the country, they are indoor/outdoor cats. It's only been 2 weeks, I've found 1 flea just after one came inside and no flea dirt.

  • Inside feline

    By on

My crew of 4 cats are inside only but I do feed a small colony of outside cats. I use sentry to protects my furbabies from any traveler that may hitch a ride on me when I am outside. Works great.

  • Good price

This product kept the fleas off my cats. It left a slight temporary greasy spot but no other side efffects. Works well for the price. Cats seemed not to notice or be bothered by the treatment.

  • It's great depending on your circumstances

    By on

I have 4 cats. As we live in the Southeast, I tailor my flea and tick treatment to the seasons. This product is perfect for my two cats that are predominantly indoors; no issues with fleas or ticks on them or in my home . So, if you have indoor cats and/or you use this product in the winter, it should work fine. For outdoor cats, Southern climate cats in summer season, this product may NOT be as effective.

  • Not working for my cats

    By on

I ordered this product reluctantly as my usual brand of flea/tick preventative was not available and it does not seem to be working for my pets. I have found numerous fleas and flea dirt on both of my cats, despite treating them with this preventative for several consecutive months now.
