SmartCat Peek & Play Toy Box is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The box is beautiful wood but the holes are too small I love the wooden box. Its finished like fine furniture but the holes on the side don't line up vision wise with the top and all the holes are too small. It comes with soft foam balls the size of a ping pong ball and they just barely fit through the hole. I bought some tiny black, gray, and white rattle mice and there is just no visual excitement because he can't really see in the box, its so low he has to lay on his side to peek in and its just not worth it compared to his other toys. So... I'm using it to stuff all his toys into when I want to pick up his room. It might work for hard food treats but he can't eat hard food so that's out. I have a shoe box that I've made into almost the same thing and that he likes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Solid MDF This may look like wood in the photo, but it is medium density fiberboard coated with shellac. It is made in China. Concept is clever. Materials are different than description and reviews by those less aware suggest. It may require some airing out before the odor dissipates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good toy I guess it depends on the cat and what they like. I have 3 cats and 2 will play with toy. One does off and on but my smallest cat loves it a lot. Especially at night she will spend about 15 to 20 working her paws into the holes trying to get the objects that I place there. It came with 2 balls but I add other little toys and she loves to search for them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cat was completely engrossed! Have a young Cat that is VERY bright and like to play in cabinets etc, and it had become very difficult to keep her occupied.... Holes are large enough she can see the stuff so she HAS to get it out... its great put all kinds of stuff in the holes and it keeps her busy... plan on getting the larger one later.. great product and price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Where's my ball? Hunt and fetch toy. This toy get hours of use. It's safe, quiet and no mess. The only thing negative is that our cat does carry off the balls so we are constantly looking for them to return them to the base.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kitten likes it, but figured it out in 10 seconds My 4 month old Bengal kitten really likes this toy, but it only takes her about 10 seconds to get both balls out. She'll go back to it right away when I replace the toys, but I had been hoping it would keep her entertained a little longer :)
