Rated 1 out of 5 by Gooseygirl Smelly and poor clumping
I had high hopes for this litter as it was recommended for my asthmatic cat. Before purchasing, I saw that reviews for this litter seemed to be either excellent or very poor, but I decided to give it a shot. To my dismay, this litter did NOT work out for us at all. The litter boasts that it is quick-clumping and good at controlling odors, however, I found the exact opposite to be true. The litter takes forever to clump, so if you try to scoop before it's 100% dry, it breaks apart into small, wet, stinky crumbs. With other litters, I have not smelled any ammonia around the box, but with this litter, the box begins to smells in just 2 or 3 days (even if I scoop it 2x/day), and the ammonia scent is STRONG. I also don't find this litter to be dust free at all. Will unfortunately need to continue the search for a good litter.

For years I have searched for the best litter for my kitty cat. I finally found it!
The wheat has a natural odor block and there is no chemical smell or litter dust. It does not clump tightly but that is OK. I believe it is the chemicals that other litter product use that produces those rock hard clumps.
My Kimba seems to like this litter and doesn't have that chemical smell on her.
I recommend it for all cat parents out there. Trust me it is worth the extra money and with Chewy you get the best deal.
Love Chewy and tell all my friends and family about Chewy.

No odor, clumps great, natural. They still track it but with two maincoons with long toe hair and a kitten that using the litter box to play in-I expect litter outside of the box.
I have two litter boxes that use litter, once the box upstairs gets cleaned this litter will also be upstairs. Wheat beats corn!

I have 2 female Maine Coone cats and had always used clay litter but it would get on the cats feet or their tail and it was like trying to get cement off them and on their long hair it was always a mess. Plus I didn't like all the dust every time they used the litter box. If it was irritating to my sinuses it was worse for theirs. I tried Swheat scoop and we all love it. I rarely notice a litter box smell and it is minor. True it doesn't clump as well as the clay but it is healthier for them and for me.

When I buy swheat scoop at the one box type pet store in my area, I pay more and have to lug it home. With chewy, it comes right to my door. Btw this litter works great and is FLUSHABLE! Excellent all the way around!

I can only speak as the person cleaning the litter box, I find this the least offensive. It doesn't smell like perfume, it clumps well, can go down the toilet and isn't dusty.
I like this the best of 3 others I've tried.

This litter is marketed as more friendly to cats than traditional clay litters. It doesn't have as much dust, clumps well, but the odor control isn't as strong as those with all the odor coverups....which is fine with me. I would rather scoop more frequently instead of exposing my cats to deodorants. Add some baking soda and you're good to go.

I'm a rescuer and we have a large number of cats at all times. I have tried many brands and this is the best one so far. We keep our litter boxes in the garage so no odor in the house. Also less tracking.
