About Taste of the Wild Cat Food
The Diet Nature Intended
They might not be cheetahs or lions, but today's domestic cats share the same ancestral cravings. To satisfy these instinctual appetites, Taste of the Wild wet and dry formulas are made with real, roasted meat plus fruits, vegetables and legumes that are chosen for their specific health benefits.
Energy That Lasts
Taste of the Wild is made with premium fish and meats like smoked salmon, trout, ocean fish, roasted venison and chicken. Every formula is grain-free and provides lasting energy with complex carbs from sweet potatoes and legumes. These highly digestible proteins and fiber-rich carbohydrates will keep your pet feeling full and energized throughout the day.
Immune System Support
Since 70% of your pet's immune system is found in the gut, it makes sense to choose a food that's good for the digestive tract. Taste of the Wild includes prebiotics and species-specific probiotics with bacteria that's naturally found in a cat's GI tract. The proprietary Viables probiotics are added after the kibble is cooked so your cat gets guaranteed live, active cultures that support healthy digestion.
Maximizing Nutrient Absorption
To help your pet's body absorb all of the beneficial minerals in her food, Taste of the Wild recipes have chelated minerals. That means they can easily attach to proteins for absorption during digestion. So your kitty will enjoy the full value of every carefully selected mineral that these foods have to offer.
Perfectly Balanced Omegas
Taste of the Wild gives your little wildcat just the right dose of omega fatty acids in every bite. Marine-sourced omega-3 comes from smoked salmon or ocean fish, or a combination of these ingredients. Omega-6 from plant sources balance out the omega-3s, and they work together to help maintain your pet's skin and coat health and to support overall wellness.
Ingredients for Better Health
The powerful superfood trio of blueberries, raspberries and tomatoes can be found in every delicious recipe, along with their immune-boosting properties.
TOMATOES and TOMATO POMACE: Help support overall health by providing vitamin C, soluble fiber and rich in concentrated lycopene, a premier antioxidant.
BLUEBERRIES: Antioxidant-rich superfood that's full of flavor and loaded with vitamins C and E, healthy carbs, dietary fiber and manganese.
RASPBERRIES: Delicious berries packed with potassium, manganese, copper, iron and magnesium, and they also provide fiber and antioxidants.

Good choice for finicky appetites...

It seems like I'm always searching for a cat food to satisfy all five of my furry friends. They are all different breads, different ages, and true to cat nature they all have different personalities with very different appetites that makes finding a food that they will all eat a real challenge. So naturally I was pleasantly surprised that they all seem to love this food.
Thank God for this food!

I have 7 cats. Like a ridiculous amount of cats. And one of them has food allergies... specifically to grain and poultry. I know what you're thinking, just buy the cat with allergies her own food. Ha! Feeding my cats is like a feeding frenzy. They gobble it up. I tried feeding her alone but she won't eat and gets upset if I separate her. There aren't many limited ingredient, non-poultry, grain-free options out there, at least that come in larger bags that are pocket book friendly. I had been feeding them Blue Buffalo Basics - fish flavor. It's a great food and my cats love it! But the largest bag it comes in is 11 lbs and it's nearly 40 dollars a bag. I have an auto ship for this food for my 13 barn cats. We have healthy cats and much less poop! They also require less of this than cheaper brands as it is dense with nutrition, thereby saving money.
Kitties are eating better than ever.

My cats do not really like this food. I read the ingredients and thought they would like it. But they just don't eat with the same gusto as their regular food which is proplan indoor care. I don't think this is a bad food. It's just not for my cat's.
My kitty loves it

I've had Oliver since he was a kitten and he's loving this food. It gives him plenty of energy. He has never spit it up. Hey, I think it works.
My cats love it

My two cats LOVE this food, and the dog prefers it over his own, when give the opportunity to steal it from the cat (which we try to prevent).

While it may not be her favorite dry food, Ms. Cinnabon will eat this when her favorites are not available. I try and rotate her foods so she gets a variety. This may not be her favorite, but it is a high quality food.
Cats really like this!

I have 3 cats, and 2 others who hang around, AND several more that I feed when walking. I want to give them good food, since some of them would have no one to take them to the vet for urinary problems. This has no grain, and seems to keep all my little "dumplings" healthy.
