Energy That Lasts

Taste of the Wild is made with premium fish and meats like smoked salmon, trout, ocean fish, roasted venison and chicken. Every formula is grain-free and provides lasting energy with complex carbs from sweet potatoes and legumes. These highly digestible proteins and fiber-rich carbohydrates will keep your pet feeling full and energized throughout the day.

Immune System Support

Immune System Support

Since 70% of your pet's immune system is found in the gut, it makes sense to choose a food that's good for the digestive tract. Taste of the Wild includes prebiotics and species-specific probiotics with bacteria that's naturally found in a cat's GI tract. The proprietary Viables probiotics are added after the kibble is cooked so your cat gets guaranteed live, active cultures that support healthy digestion.

Maximizing Nutrient Absorption

To help your pet's body absorb all of the beneficial minerals in her food, Taste of the Wild recipes have chelated minerals. That means they can easily attach to proteins for absorption during digestion. So your kitty will enjoy the full value of every carefully selected mineral that these foods have to offer.

Perfectly Balanced Omegas

Perfectly Balanced Omegas

Taste of the Wild gives your little wildcat just the right dose of omega fatty acids in every bite. Marine-sourced omega-3 comes from smoked salmon or ocean fish, or a combination of these ingredients. • I used to have to do timed feedings

    By on

I used to have to do timed feedings for one of my cats (13 years old, very inactive) because he would eat constantly and then got overweight. I had switched to another high end food and he started loosing weight despite me changing to free feeding. He was so bony I could see his backbone and feel his ribs. A friend had mentioned this brand a while back, so I looked into it. About the same time I was considering switching, my poor old guy ended up with pneumonia. He finally started eating again and this is all I've fed him since. I don't know if it was the illness, the food, or what, but now he's back to running around a little bit, howling at the ceiling for no reason, and crying out like he I used to have to do timed feedings for one of my cats (13 years old, very inactive) because he would eat constantly and then got overweight. • lethargic, full cat

    By on

I adopted my cat; she was 8 years old and she only ate TOTW. I thought only eating dry food was bad for her, so I tried to get her to eat canned. She'd eat a bit, but I had to take her off of TOTW completely to get her to eat an entire can of wet food and some dry (another brand). A couple of weeks ago, I gave her TOTW again, and she ate a bit of wet, but gorged herself on TOTW, so much so that for a week she only ate and laid around. IDK if it's her or the food, but I took her off of TOTW again, and she's more alert and meowing for her canned food in the morning again. I'll give her this as a treat on occasion (leftovers from earlier purchase), but I don't think I'll buy again because I like I adopted my cat; she was 8 years old and she only ate TOTW. • Seems to be a winner

    By on

It's really too soon to say for sure guys, but before I purchased this my cats were both having hairball control problems and stomach issues. I had been feeding them Purina One tender selects and spraying the dry food with a water bottle to soften it even more, due to the soft meaty pieces being easier for my Jimli to eat (he's had 3 teeth removed and currently suffers from a very bad cavity), but it was causing him to throw up once a week or so. And my youngest was having a bad problem with hairballs. It's been about a week and a half, things are seeming more promising with this brand.

  • Haven't tasted it but my cat enjoyed

    By on

This is the 4th time of food I've gotten for my cat and she seems to like it just fine. I've given her supermarket cat food with grains and it gave her diarrhea so I quickly switched to grain free better quality food and she has had much better and less smelly bowel movements.. She seems to like this just as much as some cheaper grain-free foods so I probably won't stick to this unless she gives me a reason to believe otherwise.

  • Happy Cats

    By on

We have 3 older cats (2 are 14 and 1 is 6). We had taken them off of dry cat food at our vet's suggestion, but wanted to reintroduce them to a little bit of dry in their diet. I decided to give them their daily wet cat food with a sprinkle of Taste of the Wild on top. They love it! I like the fact that it is grain-free which is healthier.

  • A win for both my cats

    By on

I have two very different cats, a plump middle aged female and a skinny, picky, fluffy older male. Switching to this food has been great, no digestive issues, good poops, improved coats and happy cats. They both really like it and I like that it is made from good ingredients but not too expensive.

  • My cat loves it!

    By on

For a while now my cat had been leaving her food bowl full of her food. I kept trying different dry foods and canned foods but she was not interested and would only eat when starving. I decided to try taste of the wild and she devours it! When I come home every day her food bowl is empty. I've also noticed her coat is softer and she is much more active now. I highly recommend!

  • MY CATS LOVE THIS FOOD!

    By on

I've been feeding this food for over 3 years now. My cats love it, my vet is impressed with how well my picky eaters with food allergies to corn, wheat & grains are doing on it. We don't have "hot spots" or flaky dry skin, and their energy level is back up so they are playing again.

  • Good Dry Cat Food

    By on

So far since bringing my new cat home, after his initial shock from being in a new home. He has started eating much more. I can say that he hasn't complained to me and has started eating more and more of Taste of the Wild. Nearly finished all his food for the day yesterday! Also his bowel movements.. they look as if he is getting a healthy dose of nutrients ** i know a little too much info**, but for what its worth at-least you know this dry food isn't giving my Bengal any issues in that department and shouldn't in your furry friend. Will continue to monitor his eating habits and see if he continues to enjoy this food.

  • My dog loves it!

    By on

I was disappointed that the shipment was not delivered to my door, as promised. It was left by my garage and I had to (at 73!) lug it up 31 stairs to my house. But, otherwise, my dog loves it! Mixed it with her other food until she gets used to it. Good reviews on the product.
