Rated 3 out of 5 by K9Kenai Tough Sell for My Cats
I normally feed something twice as expensive as this, but due to financial strain I was forced to downgrade their kibble a bit. Taste of the Wild has a decent reputation and still fairly high quality ingredients so I thought I would give them a try. It was a very tough sell to get all 7 of my cats to eat this food. Granted, their other food is "fishier" so that may have been the reason. Unfortunately, two of the cats cannot keep this food down and puke it up a couple hours after eating. I will keep the ones who can tolerate on it due to the lower price point, but for the ones that can't I'll have to work out a way to get them their normal stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mags Better quality than kibbles they used to demand
Switching my boys to a kibble that wasn't sand-in-a-bag was not so easy. They've turned up their cute noses at some of the best.
The adjustment-transition period of about a year included one bowl of just this kibble next to a bowl of their favorite junk next to a bowl of Taste of the Wild mixed with another grain-free cat kibble that they would occasionally eat. (I'll be making a long drive soon to buy another bag of that one).
Because the first ingredient of this particular kibble is a protein meal instead of straight protein source, I downgraded from * * * * * to * * * *.
Perhaps I'll get another bag of my preference for them and combine again.
I love these brothers (yes, they really were rescued as young kittens and obviously brothers) and I want them to live long and thrive.
BTW - I don't "own" any pets, we share the house and I do the driving, feeding and such. We're family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annie Kitties love this food
This is the first grain free food that all four of our cats love. It is not low calorie so portion control is very important.

My picky bunch are not happy with this. They get only grain free but guess they don't like the change in brands/

Our elderly kitty has FID, HIV for kitties. She's had astonishingly low white blood cell counts her whole life. We've quit believing wide-eyed vets who gasp, "she's going to die today." But at 14, she lost so much weight and vomitted her high-cost cat food up with such regularity that we despaired. After a day of research, we ordered Taste of the Wild and I'm daring to say, she's taken a major turn for health! She's keeping it down, her catbox doesn't have foul smelling (any more than normal excrement) runny strange-colored matter in it. This stuff is amazing. I'm sold.

I know that TOTW is a wonderful brand, but to be honest, I guess I overlooked the fact that I ordered venison and salmon flavor. None of my 4 very spoiled cats will touch it. I bought a 15# bag, so quite a bit to be wasted. No worries though...I feed some neighborhood feral and stray cats....so I fed it to them. They had NO problem with it. Although my cats thought they were too good for it, I still recommend this product, because it's quite healthy and the ingredients are superb.
