It’s virtually dust-free for easy breathing and forms lightweight clumps that are easy to scoop.

Key Benefits

  • Cedar, pine and corn clumping litter to fight the toughest urine, feces, and ammonia odors
  • Highly absorbent natural ingredients
  • 7.5 lb. Tidy Cats Pure Nature = 18 lb. clumping clay litter
  • 12 lb. Tidy Cats Pure Nature = 30 lb. clumping clay litter
  • 99.9% dust free

Cautions

We want to remind those with suppressed immune systems and pregnant women that a parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis. Please wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Encouraging your cat to use an indoor litter box, or properly disposing of outdoor cat feces, is beneficial to overall water quality. Please do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it outdoors in gutters or storm drains. Used litter is not recommended for garden use. Product is filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Transition Instructions

If your cat is new to Tidy Cats Pure Nature, change litters slowly by gradually mixing this in with your previous litter. Start with a mix of 1/3 Pure Nature and 2/3 previous litter for days 1-2, then decrease to 1/3 previous litter for days 2-3, and stop using the previous litter completely by days 3-4.

Clumping in Every Tidy Piece

At the heart of Tidy's patented, one-of-a-kind litter is their exclusive bi-component system. Each and every 2-part granule is specifically made to absorb odor and liquids PLUS clump tight. Unlike litters that rely on some pieces to fight odors and others to clump, every single piece of Tidy litter does both. That's basically a 2 for 1, in every single granule.

Masterful Odor Control

Even better? Each powerful piece has also been given a little extra custom odor-fighting power, depending on your favorite Tidy formula. These odor-fighting agents neutralize odors from solid and liquid waste, delivering the instant, long-lasting or multi-faceted freshness you need. Sounds pretty super.

The Down Low on Low Dust

Tidy Cats works hard to bring you low-dust litters. Their litters have an anti-dust coating that forms a microscopic web-like structure that helps prevent tiny dust particles from escaping.

Switching Litter

When switching to a new cat litter, be sure to do so gradually to help avoid any litter box issues. Start by cleaning the litter box completely, then fill it 2/3 with your old litter and 1/3 with the new. Slowly increase the amount of new litter over time. This allows your feline friend the time she needs to adjust to the new litter. Meow isn't that smart?

  • Better then the rest

Three primary reasons I highly recommend this product. First, it's light weight and landfill save. The bag is resealable and fits nicely away on a cabinet shelf. Second, unlike some other light weight litters, we don't want to smell odor when furry friend uses it. I hate cat box smell and rather keep stink nugetts a surprise when scooping. Third, it clumps better then stone litter does. Scooping is easy and pee doesn't sit at the bottom of the pan. Kitty still tracks the litter but it's mostly around the box. In my opinion it's not that bad. Easy enough to give a little sweep after scooping. I rather step on this litter then others ones with stones litter. It's dusty when filling the pan but that's a given for any litter. If you don't want dust, then potty training your fur friend should be on your to-do list. The instructions doesn't give any recommendation for when to completely change out the litter. We are currently in testing mode to figure out how long we can use the initial litter before replacing it all. We are on week two with daily scooping and only had to add to keep the recommend litter level. So far so good. My estimate guess is two weeks plus a day or two to completely change it out. But hoping for three full weeks. One notable disadvantage is sticky poops not staying in the pan and sometimes stays on paws. :-( gross I know. … more

  • Absolute Best Litter

I have been purchasing this litter for my 2 cats for almost 3 years. i have tried all the others and they are either heavily perfumed, or too heavy to lift. i am disabled and cannot lift the other litter boxes. this is not perfumed , but pure, natural ,practically dust free, litter great for more than one cat. long lasting odor control, very minute dust . fresh clean scent all day long. used to have to go to different towns to look for it , as the stores here quit carrying it. not anymore.!! chewy has it all the time. and i don't have to drive to find it. thank you chewy for great products and great service!!

  • Too dusty and perfumey

    By on

I was looking for a replacement for our previous all natural corn litter, which unfortunately was discontinued by the manufacturer, and gave this a try. I didn't realize it was scented, so that was one drawback, but it's also really quite dusty. My cats were willing to use it, but some of the pieces of litter look like little shards of porcelain, so it looks rough on their paws.

  • Cat and I both like this litter

    By on

Other litters and "clay" based litters were causing cat to have skin and itching issues, so switching to this "natural" litter has solved her issue and also eliminated the "dust" issue that we had with the other litters. This litter is also much lighter than the other products on the market, which makes it much easier to handle when changing the liter and cleaning the litter box (this litter also "clumps", maybe not quite as solidly as some of the clay litter, but it does clump), it also has a nice natural woody aroma instead of a perfume smell. Just an all around good choice for litter for cat and keeper.

  • Highly Recommend

Highly recommend. I was in a potentially stressful situation when making the decision to take in a feral kitten that my senior cat discovered in the backyard. It was almost impossible to catch. I was very open to any recommendations for this venture. In my vast information gathering I knew the clumping litter that my other 2 cats were using was not recommended. The first non-clumping litter made from similar ingredients that I bought had such a strong scent. I was concerned that the wild kitten would not use it, so I bought TCs Pure Nature instead... and of course, sniffed it out at the store before buying it. By the time I was able to trap and bring the kitten in, my office was converted into a kitty haven with the help of Tidy Cats Pure Nature kitty litter. The kitten did not hesitate to use it. Not only that, the fresh outdoor scent is so incredibly good - it actually made the room smell better than before, even after being used. And even though it is not a clumping litter, scooping is easy due to its high absorbency. The one and only drawback is that each flake is so lightweight, that it does tend to end up getting tracked out of the litter box. This stuff is really great, so I feel it is worth being a little messy. Kitten loves it, owner loves it. I highly recommend. … more

  • Tidy Cats Pure Nature Cat Litter

    By on

We have been using this cat litter for years, it is the best! We've been purchasing it from retail stores and other online stores, but have found their stock on hand to be unreliable. We have been buying cat food from Chewy.com since June with excellent results, so when we looked deeper in the catalogue we were happy to find this product.

  • Not right for my house

    By on

I'd give this two and a half. I was looking for something to use as a complement for a litter that I like but which has a texture the cats don't love, something to soften things up for them. The good thing is it doesn't seem to track much, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the smell is very overpowering, it's dusty as all get-out, and clumping - no. The tiniest little shake and the clump disintegrates. The cats don't mind it, but I don't think I'll be spending my money on it again.

  • Best Litter for the Price!

    By on

We have a cat rescue and litter is one of our biggest expenses. For the price, this litter is the best! It lasts longer, stays fresher and is lightweight. Can't usually afford it in the stores, but with Chewy's low price and free delivery, it's all we use now!

  • Best litter to date

    By on

This is the best by far for me and my cats. Yes it does track a bit when they get out of their boxes but which litter truly doesn't, but this litter doesn't hurt my feet when it does. Chewy.com will continue to get my business as long as they carry it.

  • Okay. Not bad. Not superb.

Trying out different pine brands-I like Feline Pine much better. Tidy Cats version is dusty and VERY fragrant. As if they added pine scent. It works, it clumps, but I prefer the scent and lack of dust that Feline Pine gives. Also, with Feline Pine I never smelled feces, even if it wasn't buried. With this brand, I do smell feces when in the same room.
