  • It's low tracking so you won't have litter throughout your home carried by your furry friend's paws
  • Locks in moisture to help trap odors from the start
  • Extended release deodorizing system keeps your liter box smelling as fresh as possible
  • 99.6% dust-free allows you to breathe easily in your home
  • TidyLock Protection locks away strong ammonia, urine and fecal smells

Cautions

Store in a dry place.
Replace lid after use and store out of reach of pets. Open containers may present a remote safety risk to unattended cats or dogs. Children can fall into bucket and drown. Keep children away from bucket with even a small amount of liquid. We want to remind those with suppressed immune systems and pregnant women that a parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis. Please wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Encouraging your cat to use an indoor litter box, or properly disposing of outdoor cat feces, is beneficial to overall water quality. Please do not flush cat litter in toilets or dispose of it outdoors in gutters or storm drains. Used litter is not recommended for garden use. Product is filled by weight; some settling may occur.

Clumping in Every Tidy Piece

At the heart of Tidy's patented, one-of-a-kind litter is their exclusive bi-component system. Each and every 2-part granule is specifically made to absorb odor and liquids PLUS clump tight. Unlike litters that rely on some pieces to fight odors and others to clump, every single piece of Tidy litter does both. That's basically a 2 for 1, in every single granule.

Absorbs odor and liquids

Creates tight clumping

Formula-specific odor-fighting agents

Masterful Odor Control

Even better? Each powerful piece has also been given a little extra custom odor-fighting power, depending on your favorite Tidy formula. These odor-fighting agents neutralize odors from solid and liquid waste, delivering the instant, long-lasting or multi-faceted freshness you need. Sounds pretty super.

The Down Low on Low Dust

Tidy Cats works hard to bring you low-dust litters. Their litters have an anti-dust coating that forms a microscopic web-like structure that helps prevent tiny dust particles from escaping.

Switching Litter

When switching to a new cat litter, be sure to do so gradually to help avoid any litter box issues. Start by cleaning the litter box completely, then fill it 2/3 with your old litter and 1/3 with the new. Slowly increase the amount of new litter over time. This allows your feline friend the time she needs to adjust to the new litter. Meow isn't that smart?

  • Haven't yet found a litter I like completely

This is not a bad clumping litter, but the problem with it is the smell. It has a sweet sickening scent that smells to me like laundry detergent. I open the door to my house and smell it immediately and the odor is all over the house. Also, it sticks to the bottom of the litter box like glue and is very hard to clean the box, as adding water just makes it clump harder to the box. (Not just this litter, all the clumping litters do that.) I have partially solved the problem of it being glued to the litter box by putting plastic bags in the litter box and then pouring the litter in. Regular plastic garbage bags work better than the more expensive and thinner litter liners. Anyway, I lift up the This is not a bad clumping litter, but the problem with it is the smell. Regular plastic garbage bags work better than the more expensive and thinner litter liners. Anyway, I lift up the bag and the urine blob comes off the plastic easily and can be scooped out without ripping the bag or getting stuck to the box. Regular clay non-clumping litter usually has so much dust. Both the cats and I were sniffling and sneezing from that. This litter does not have dust. It's a good product, except for that awful smell. I must say, it's better than some of the other REALLY smelly perfumery kinds, but still I hate perfumery smells and I am sure my cats aren't wild about it as they have great sense of smell and are much closer to it than I am. It does keep the urine smell down, but covering it up with perfume that neither cats nor humans like, in my opinion, is not the answer. … more

GOOD POINTS: 1) it's great for kittens and cats of all ages 2) it clumps FAST 3) my cat has never went outside the litter box 4) it keeps the smell at bay well. BAD POINTS: 1) it's rough! 2) it's so thick that when I scooped the litter, my scooper BROKE lol it was a cheap scooper, but still. 3) it's very strong in scent and if you have allergic asthma you're gonna hate the dust. I have chosen to work with this product regardless of the negatives. I buy the instant action lightweight tidy cat formula (no glade scent) and mix it with this litter. The scent isn't as strong, the litter is smoother and lighter, my cat is happy :) ***don't use JUST the lightweight formula it doesn't GOOD POINTS: 1) it's great for kittens and cats of all ages 2) it clumps FAST 3) my cat has never went outside the litter box 4) it keeps the smell at bay well. • Box is Too Much!

    By on

The product is excellent and I have used it for years. I got carried away and ordered this large box (35 lbs) because it was "on sale." Never again. When it arrived, I could not figure out how to open the container, which was sealed like the tomb. I called the Tidy Cat telephone number and was actually told to "get a screwdriver and a hammer and go for it!" It seems no one had actually thought to print directions or make it easy to open the container. So, back to the large store containers that have real screw on/off lids for me

  • Great litter

    By on

What I love most about this particular Tidy Cats litter is that there are no perfumes or fragrances in it. I have bought other Tidy Cat litter that I had to throw out because the fragrance in it permeated my entire house and gave me a splitting headache. This is the ONE - if you have fragrance sensitivities. And it clumps well and my cats use the box. All important.

  • Messy situation

    By on

I love chewy.com and buy all my dog and cat food through them. I have recommend them to all my friends. The last order I placed I also ordered cat litter. The cat litter container came open in shipping. Also, what ever caused the container to open also put a hole in the box, which I didn't notice until after I hauled it into the house. I understand this isn't a chewy.com problem, but I won't be ordering cat litter anymore.

  • Clumps fall apart

    By on

I've used Tidy Cats for more than 20 years and have been happy with it until recently. The clumps no longer stick together when scooped up--the urine soaked litter clumps fall apart. The wet litter then falls through the holes in the metal scoop and lands back in the litter box. As a result, the litter box smells of urine and stinks up the entire laundry room where it's located. Sadly, I have had to change brands.

  • BEST KITTY LITTER!

    By on

I have tried all the new 'light' versions of several brands and the dust level is so high. Also the odor protection of other litters just doesn't cut it. BUT....Tidy Cats blue label is the best. The red label is my second choice and Tidy Cats is affordable considering it is a 'potty' for your kitty and gets disposed of so a pet owner should not have to break the bank for litter.

  • Cat approved

    By on

I have 5 cats and one doesn't like sharing litter boxes to the point that he was doing all his business on the floor. Tried several brands including Dr Elsey's Cat Attract, but nothing worked. This has been going on for years. Tried tidy cat and in less than a week, he started doing his business in the box. This is after 4 years... a miracle. It doesn't clump that well, but I am still so impressed on how well it neutralizes odors. Tip: to keep dust to a minimum when adding litter to a box, buy a large flour scoop instead of pouring it in.

  • Tidy Cats Scoop Instant Action Immediate Odor Control Cat Litter

    By on

I have been using this item for several years after trying many other versions of litter. It works so well. I clean out the used portions every day and add more when needed. Simple and effective. The kitties love it and the bathroom odor is taken care of.

  • My surprise!

    By on

My daughter has been trying to get me to at least try clumping cat litter for years. I've always liked Tidy Cats brand. When I became a Chewy customer almost a month ago, I gave the clumping litter a try. Okay, I will admitt, at least with the Tidy Cats brand, she was right.
