  • Tiki Cat Rules!

My little girl Princess Consuela Kitty Lala is VERY picky. She is a seafood only puss. We even tried mixing chicken wet food with the last bit of tuna and she wouldn't touch it. I received an ad that featured Tiki Cat and decided that we would try it. When I opened the can I was amazed at how unprocessed the food was. Large chunks of fish and it was packed in squid broth. I did chop up the chunks of fish to make it easier for her to shovel food into her picky little mouth. Kitty went CRAZY over this food!!! She constantly purrs when eating it! She usually leaves a bite or two for her corgi-wawa brofur, but not this time, her bowl was liked CLEAN! She even tried crying for seconds haha! If you have a kit cat at home that enjoys real fish, definitely give this a try. If you're not too sure they do have single cans for sale so you don't have to purchase a full 12 pack. My only complaint is that they don't have a bigger case size; i.e. 24 or 30 pack. … more

  • Picky cat!

    By on

Alright, my big ol' love of a cat, Mal, is a super picky eater when it comes to wet food. He wouldn't touch frisky's, or anything like that, he wouldn't touch the Whole Earth stuff, or Rachel Ray. He didn't like the Blue Buffalo, Natures Variety...really any wet food we gave him. Until we tried Tiki Cat. Now he goes bonkers and comes running up to me when ever he sees that I'm in the food closet because he wants some! His kibble is Nutro Max for Cats, but he'll eat any kibble... wet food was our challenge and Tiki Cat has gone above and beyond!

  • Fishy can Cans.... Ahhhhg.

    By on

Most of the cans were fish in this variety pack... Price was a little high but for the quality of the food, you can not compare. Is this cheaper than buying a can of tuna fish or sardines? No, but Tiki Cat has the recipes down and I would say most cats would eat and enjoy the different flavor combinations compared to just giving them a can of sardines. It does have the best ingredients offered to next to making it on your own.... Sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and I think tomatoes. I would buy this again but this is more on a treat level instead of an everyday meal supplement.

  • Lots of hits and a few misses

When you buy a variety pack you take your chances, particularly if you have a cat who is the very definition of finicky. In this pack were some real winners, the sort of food a cat of annoyingly exquisite taste will eat. Those would be the cans with the word, tuna, anywhere in its name. Kudos to those who made it. But then there were the duds and here the operative word was sardines. Anything with sardines in it stayed untouched. She who rules the house appeared to be insulted that I would give her that slop - her words, not mine - at the end of a hard day's sleep. Lesson learned. Get the variety pack for what it offers in the way of tuna and hope your beast is not the type to turn up When you buy a variety pack you take your chances, particularly if you have a cat who is the very definition of finicky. • No gravy goodness!

    By on

I have two cats, one of which is extremely picky with the wet food. It has taken me a year of trying different brands to finally find the grain-free wet food that she would eat. The issue I realized was the 'gravy' many wet foods have. Tiki Cat doesn't have that soupy gravy with their foods (the sardines are the 'wettest' of their flavors); this is high quality food, and I have seen the increase in energy my cats have, their coats are softer and shinier, and to see my picky girl eat with gusto makes me a happy camper! Highly recommend this brand!

  • Yummee and Purr-worthy

This food has quality ingredients, and I like that there's a variety, yet the ingredients are similar enough not to cause any tummy troubles. My kitty immediately descended upon this food when we tried our first can, and has not tired of it. She always does her twitchy tale of excitement eagerly awaiting being served any of these recipes, and licks her plate clean. I've ordered excellent quality canned foods, but some she has rejected or quickly lost interest in. This she loves! We highly recommend this variety.

  • Great way to try out new flavors

My cats eat the same high quality, grain-free dry food (ToTW) that they ate when I adopted them but I wanted to introduce some wet food for variety. I liked that Tiki Cat's ingredients are high protein and certified for human consumption and the label artwork is fabulous too. And the cats LOVED it! They still eat their dry food mainly and seem to view this as a bonus (they weigh a combined 20 lbs and only finish 1/2 can between them in one sitting). • Stinky but the cat loves it!

    By on

After our vet recommended we switch our cat to canned food we were looking for a food that has a high protein content and lower calories. Tiki cat seemed like a good match. Some of the varieties have bigger chunks of fish that look kind of nasty but the cat thinks they're great! In fact, those are the type she prefers. I knocked off one star only because if you are a little sensitive you may not like the look or smell of some of the foods but chances are the cat won't mind.

  • They love it

I just opened the sardine and mackerel and was a little grossed out by the fact that this was the least processed cat food I have ever seen. One of my cats started growling as he was eating (his nom-nom song ). He tried to steal his brother's food but brother just ate faster. Not too many foods get the nom nom song.

  • My cat just doesn't eat these cans

    By on

I bought this variety pack for my cat and would like to know his taste better. Unfortunately, he doesn't eat any of the sardine cans and only eats a tiny little of the tuna cans. So basically the whole pack is wasted and I'm giving the rest cans to a shelter. I can't blame the cans but just feel sad for my money.
