Tiki Cat Makaha Grill Mackerel & Sardine in Calamari Consomme Grain-Free Canned Cat Food, 2.8-oz, case of 12
2.8-oz, case of 12
Tiki Cat's Makaha Luau Recipe is made using wild caught, young mackerel and sardines that are sliced into cutlets with the tail and fins removed. They're cooked whole in a calamari consomme broth made with whole pieces of calamari in a traditional stock method to produce naturally occurring flavors. A blend of vegetable gums is added to the broth to provide a gentle jelly that keeps the delicate meat from falling apart. Sunflower oil, vitamins and minerals are then added to create a tasty, healthy meal your cat will love.

Tiki Cat Gourmet Whole Food formulas contain whole human-grade shredded or sliced meats and seafood. Each formula is carefully prepared with a healthy broth to mimic the moisture of live prey.
Zero or Low Carbohydrates
Tiki Pets believes that if it isn't part of cats' natural prey parameters, it shouldn't be in their food, and that includes carbohydrates. In the wild, cats eat little to no carbohydrates, and Tiki Pets has found that diets high in carbohydrates and low in animal protein can lead to health issues. That's why Tiki formulas are grain-free and contain low or zero carbohydrates.
Simple, Fresh Ingredients
All Tiki formulas contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and are made without corn, wheat, soy or fillers.
BEEF, CHICKEN OR SEAFOOD BROTH
Excellent source of moisture similar to that found in natural prey to support healthy kidney, liver and urinary tract functions.
TUNA FISH OIL
Great source of Omega-3 fatty acid, which supports joint functionality and promotes healthy skin and a lustrous coat.

My cat loves food but until she had Tiki Cat she usually finished half of her meal and maybe came back and grazed a few hours later. This would be fine if I didn't give her medication in her food, but since I do she needs to eat it all at once and ever since I tried Tiki Cat (recommend by my wonderful friend) she always cleans her plate! And this is a flavor with lower sodium so it's purrrfect for kitties with heart disease :)
Literally a life saver.

I have a cat that is hyperthyroid and can not tolerate any form of the medication. I need to make sure she gets as much protein as possible. She LOVES the Succulent Chicken and will eat a whole large can throughout the day. She's little now, down to 5.5 pounds, but the weight loss is slowing because she loves her Tiki Cat Chicken. Thank you Tiki Cat for offering such a nutritious high quality product.

I usually buy the variety pack, however my issue is with this flavor. I use this food, which is great for my diabetic cat, however be aware of bones!!!
I understand that its fresh and all that jazz, but my picture clearly shows the spine of a fish, bad news if I had not found that and my cat would have eaten that.
Excellent Food my cats favorite

My cats, I have five, are so excited about this food and really love it. I usually break itr up with a fork to make it easier to eat as some of my cats are used to eating pate.
Disgusting,even for canned food.

My cat wouldn't come near her dish! I about gagged just putting it in her dish. Even the puppy wouldn't touch it. That's bad. The puppy eats most anything.
Love Tiki Cat, but this one disagreed with my cat

I was on the fence anyway about feeding my cats calamari (squid are fiercely intelligent; also, in their natural environment, no domesticated cat would ever come across and eat a squid), but decided to give it a shot. About ten minutes after eating this product for the first time, my older cat threw it all up and then began coughing (like he does with a hairball) and moaning and drooling (which he never does with a hairball). About twenty minutes after -that- he seemed pretty much back to normal. I think it just really disagreed with him; worth noting that my other cat who ate the same food was perfectly fine. But still, will never buy this again.
if i were a cat, i would have eaten it

My very picky retired barn cat wouldn't touch this.
She likes the Tikki Tuna and Salmon varieties but anything with mackrel or sardine she sniffs and turns the other direction. Even the dog wouldn't eat it.
I was surprised, because it looked pretty delicious to me. No, I didn't try it.
It wouldn't stop me from recommending it, because I think the quality appears high--whether or not your cat will like the flavor is anyone's guess. They are so fickle (isn't that why we love them).
Exactly What My Cats Requested!

All cats can be infinitely picky about what foods they will or will not eat. I think I've tried (almost) every brand of canned food offered by Chewy in the impossible task of finding that ONE food my indoor, fosters, and ferals ALL love. By far, "Tiki Cat Makaha Luau Mackerel & Sardine in Calamari Consomme" comes close. Large pieces of whole fish and calamari are perfectly paired together in a jelly-like sauce. I'm adding a photo since I find it helpful to see the consistency when choosing food for my pets.
not a winner

First wet food my cat doesn't like. The chunks of sardine are far too big and I don't like that the eyes are in it. He didn't eat very much of it. I will be donating the rest of the cans.
Grandcat loves this the best.

Tried less expensive products, but didn't seem to satisfy as much as this product. Eating the lesser priced product seem to put on some weight. Went back to Tiki Cat and now he's slim and trim again!
