Tiki Cat Puka Puka Luau Succulent Chicken in Chicken Consomme Grain-Free Canned Cat Food is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 263.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, healthy product Our cat LOVED this stuff. We still mix it with his kitten dry food and put it all together but he inhales this stuff (and has a tantrum when he's done). It's grain/fish/dairy free which is one of the first things I look for when feeding my kitten!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for diabetics My cat is 17 and has pancreatitis, diabetes as well as having struggled with struvite crystals, urinary inflammation and battles a recurring upper respiratory issue. All this on top of being old with some back pain and general geriatric attitude. :) So, 18 months ago I was told I HAD to pull him off his formulated raw diet that he LOVED and thrived on ... even went into diabetic remission ... all because of the struvite crystals. Of course the vet says "prescription diet." It's a bunch of Pork byproduct. Garbage. Well, after 18 months of just mediocre health and a dull coat, I spoke with a feline nutritionist and learned that here are other options for him. AND found out the so-called prescription diet was loaded with carbs. Uhmmm. He's a diabetic. I blindly trusted a vet and THIS. Never again. So, she recommended Tikki Cat until I can start doing his food at home. And for my guy who cannot have too much phosphorus due to crystals, most seafood is off of the table. We tried Puka Puka Luau, and within days his coat was back to its shiny, soft, vibrant self. His muscle mass is improving a bit and he just loves the stuff! The only thing is that he is missing a couple of teeth and the shredded bits do sort of fall out BUT I just run the food in the Cuisinart and problem solved. For any diabetic cat, carbs are a no-no. Just because a food is grain free doesn't make it carb-free. And most cat food companies do not post carb content on cans. Tikki puts the glycemic load on the site - which is ZERO - and that is totally amazing. So, thank you. And thank you Chewy for carrying the stuff. Quality of the protein matters, especially for these older guys losing muscle mass. Cats don't need potatoes or peas or non-animal sources of protein! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra dollar. Your cat will thank you. And so will your smaller vet bills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fenicky Cat Approved This food smells great and looks much more edible then other cat can foods. My Fenicky female cat loves it and my male has begun to eat it as well which is a shock because he likes Pate style foods not shredded. I would definitely buy this again and I want to try a couple other flavors. Good quality food.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality! This is a food that I would eat in a pinch if I had to. It truly is like something you would make your cats at home if you had the time. All of my cats love this, even the picky one. I have a cat with sensitive bowels and this is his favorite. One of the best wet foods on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats love Tiki One of my cats suddenly decided she didn't like seafood anymore so I needed poultry in a hurry. She's happily eating the chicken and the shreds are small enough for any size cat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would eat this! I don't normally write unsolicited reviews, but I was so impressed with this food I had to log on and contribute. This cat food looks and smells better than chicken canned for humans. Seriously. I stopped short of tasting it, but if I was dared to do so - pass me the fork! The cans I've opened so far (4) have all smelled and looked so fresh. The chicken is shredded into nice light pieces. The broth is light too, like actual chicken juices you might use to make a soup with. I have two cats who suffer with eosinophilic granuloma that has sadly manifested in their gums. One has had to have all his teeth, short of incisors, extracted. The second is on her way to the same. I struggle to keep weight on them. What attracted me to Tiki Cat initially was the guaranteed analysis on the can label. Most wet cat foods are protein poor. 9% at best for poultry varieties, and maybe 11% for fish. As cats are obligate carnivores (they MUST have meat), I always look for the highest protein content possible. Our previous name-brand was on par with the average 9%. I bought it because I thought it was the best I could do. Tiki Cat has changed all that. Just looking at it I know it's REAL meat. Not some meat thing that's been processed into something my cat is supposed to survive on. Because the puka puka luau looks so good and my cats love it, today I bought several other varieties for them to try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality product! My 6 month-old cat Jupiter has been eating this since he was 3 months old, mixed with 1/2 of a pate-style kitten food. He absolutely loves this flavor of Tiki Cat and gobbles it up. The quality of the product is superb (although manufactured in Thailand, which is of concern for some people) and it's literally nicely shredded chicken in a can with some chicken stock. I have never experienced any bones in the can, and the meat is consistently nice white meat. Reminds me a lot of canned chicken for human consumption. Overall, very happy that I did my research and discovered this brand! It's not easy to find in stores (even in NYC, where I live) but Chewy makes it easy and affordable to order!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bowl is licked clean I have one kitty on medication that is compounded into a liquid. I add to this food and the bowl is licked clean. She loves it & it makes it so easy to give her meds. I have tried many other foods to give her meds & this is the one that works. My other two cats also clean their bowls. Great food, all natural chicken and they devour it all!
