Vetericyn is a non-toxic and non-irritating, broad-spectrum antimicrobial that in solution kills 99.999% of most singlecell pathogens in 30 seconds, including antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria as well as fungi, viruses and spores. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid which is generated in activated neutrophils and contributes to the destruction of bacteria. This process is similar to the response given by the pet's immune system. Vetericyn does not contain steroids, antibiotics, alcohols, iodine or tea tree oil, making it safe for a wide range of animals with even the most sensitive systems. Vetericyn is non-toxic and does not harm healthy tissue. The pH of Vetericyn is manufactured in an appropriate physiological range so that it will not sting when applied.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product for skin problems. My Golden Retriever with allergies could not get through the summer without Vetericyn VF gel. I have used it on his many skin problems and Vetericyn VF gel has always worked well. Also chewy.com has the best price I could find. The 16 oz. bottle has a trigger spryer that is much easier to use if you have arthritic hands. August 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dog is relieved My dog had seasonal allergies which combined with an allergy to a new food to result in a weekend of non-stop itching. This product, when spayed on his hot spots and chewed skin, appeared to reduce the inflammation and he would leave the affected area alone. It was also great because I could apply it in a control way near his eyes -- providing relief where other sprays can't go. Other sprays I had tried seemed to aggravate the dogs more than the initial itching or wound; this spray would calm them down and let them focus on other things. July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by VF formula heals wounds even quicker Make sure you get the VF hydrogel formula. This heals wounds in no time. The VF means it is stronger and the hydrogel keeps the product attached to the wound. August 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy and Effective I used this on my Shepherd-mix after he got a nasty hot spot. He wouldn't let anyone touch it and it obviously was extremely tender. The hydro-gel was the first thing we could finally use. No touching required, and no sting after it landed on its mark! It healed beautifully and quickly. This stuff is magic. July 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked as described Healed my bully's hot spots in a day! Amazing results! July 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Remarkable Vetericyn Every pet owner should have this product in their cupboard. It really is a remarkable topical spray for everything imagineable from cuts and burns to bug bites and skin irritations. Vetericyn works on them all. My dog got a nasty spider bite on his muzzle and it was really quite severe. I tried other products which did not help at all. Then I found Vetericyn, it really is a miracle product. No burning or stinging when applied. It's amazing! June 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My GSD has both food and inhalant allergies. I switched him from Purina HA to Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein food. At the same time I began using Vetericyn HydroGel. The whole time he was on the HA food (2 years) he had recurrent staph infections, and ear infections. They decreased in frequency on the HA but he still required antibiotics and steroids every 8 -10 weeks. Since switching to the Royal Canin, I have also been spraying his groin area nightly with Vetericyn. He has gone 6 months now without a staph infection!!! Because I changed two things at once, I can't be absolutely certain that it is the Vetericyn or the diet change and the Vetericyn that has made such a huge difference. It clearly feels soothing on his skin because when I reach for the bottle he comes to me to be sprayed. If his face starts itching I spray Vetericyn on my hands and rub it into the fur on his face. For his ears I spray a cotton ball with Vetericyn and clean his ears and the itching stops. I wouldn't be without the stuff! It has made a HUGE difference in my dog's quality of life. July 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! Works on my bulldogs hot spots, and rug burn that my special needs dog gets from dragging around (she just underwent bilateral hip surgery and can't use back legs). I love it stays right where you spray it! April 25, 2016
