Vetericyn is a non-toxic and non-irritating, broad-spectrum antimicrobial that in solution kills 99.999% of most singlecell pathogens in 30 seconds, including antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria as well as fungi, viruses and spores. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid which is generated in activated neutrophils and contributes to the destruction of bacteria. This process is similar to the response given by the pet's immune system. Vetericyn does not contain steroids, antibiotics, alcohols, iodine or tea tree oil, making it safe for a wide range of animals with even the most sensitive systems. Vetericyn is non-toxic and does not harm healthy tissue. The pH of Vetericyn is manufactured in an appropriate physiological range so that it will not sting when applied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by This product works great! Doing cat rescue we use this on skin abrasions as well as infections from bites and scratches. You can either just spray it on or use a cotton ball for sensitive areas like inside of ears. October 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Veterinary Quality Product This medication has healed really bad feline acne and wounds that no other over-the-counter product could handle. And my vet also uses and recommends it. October 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product & you do not need to use too much of it. I have a 14 year old BICHON who gets itchy hot spots every year during hot weather, he digs & itches a lot & wounds himself, this product gave him major relief in just a few days. I had tried other products & none worked. October 3, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Wouldn't recommend It seems to work on the hot spot my dog chewed on his tail but it definitely doesn't work as a skin calming agent, only as antiseptic. It actually dried out his skin on his back. The spray smells heavily of chlorine/bleach and acts as diluted bleach solution on my hands drying them out. Disappointed since judging from other reviews I bought it to help relieve my dog's skin allergies. September 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really works for us! I use the Vetericyn on my allergic pups feet a lot in a couple different ways. When she comes in from outdoors I use a couple of sprays as a little wash. I feel it is better than water. Also, for temporary relief of itching or discomfort or a little sore starting. Seems to clear it right up! I even used it on my hand when I got a little burn from a hot oven! Love it! August 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product I used this 3 years ago as a recommendation of my Vet for a furbuncle on my dog and it worked great. I thought it required a prescription but when I saw it on Chewey at a very reasonable price I was so happy. Its a great product for cysts and carbuncles on dogs. August 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome product this really works: keeps the wound clean and heals faster. I am never without this product! has saved me trips to the vet for cuts & scrapes by saturating & cleaning the area, and then several applications a day. the company website has reviews/photos of what this product can do. I hope Chewy always carries this product cause their service ROCKS July 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product - highly effective I bought this product based on the excellent reviews. About a week after taking a semi-feral cat to be neutered (and ear-tipped) I noticed his ear was not healing properly due to infection from the tipping. At first I tried triple antibiotic ointment (due to the cat being feral it was not easy getting access to his ear except while he was eating). After a few days with no results using the ointment, I tried the Vetericyn using the spray bottle. Amazing result: after just a few applications the redness began to subside and within a few days the ear was completely healed up! I highly, highly recommend this product. April 28, 2016
