  • recurring urinary issues

    By on

My cat loves these chews. She is still recovering from her UTI infection, but the symptoms have disappeared so I'm sure she is more comfortable. I will continue to use these chews in her daily routine. As others have said, they are hard to chew so I break them into 3 or 4 pieces and give them to her.

  • Pierre loves these

I took my cat off of a prescription cat food for urinary tract problems and decided instead to supplement with these. Pierre loves them. I just wish it was a larger bag so I wouldn't go through one a month.

  • UT cat chews

I would have given this item a 5, but, my four cats don't like the size or flavor. It was recommended by my vet. so it is a must have. I, therefore, have to cut the chews up and mix it with their wet food and put a tablespoon of dry on top, for them to eat it. It's a lot of effort especially for 2 times a day. We have not been using the chews long enough to see any health results as yet.

  • My cats love the chews

I can't say if it works or not, usually my female kitty gets UTIs when I travel, but I have been home for a few weeks. So I should know more in 2 weeks when I go away for a few days. This is why I am only rating it 3 stars. My cats (4) love it, I keep them in the fridge (the treats, not the cats) and every time I open it, they come running hoping I give them treats, but is it just a treat, or does it help prevent the next UTI???? TBD.

  • Need to slice into smaller bits

    By on

My cat loves this! The internal specialist vet recommended this to prevent recurring UTI. Previously my cat was diagnosed with UTI four times. She has not had UTI since last year when she first started on this. She will not eat this in one whole piece, as it is too big. I slice it up and put on her canned cat food. For those who say their cat won't eat it, its probably because it's too big. Just slice it up.

  • Meh too big

The treats were too big for my cat to eat so I have to break it up into little bits.

  • Too Chewy for kitties

    By on

This product is way too stiff and chewy, for my cats at least. They attempt to chew it up, but give up and leave a mess for me. Is there another product out there with d-mannose in it that might be easier for the cats to chew up?

  • Terrible smell, extra hard and gummy

    By on

One of my cats suffers from urinary tract issues & I don't always want to have him injected with antibiotics for obvious reasons. This cat, unlike my other 2, will eat ANYTHING! Well, he wouldn't touch these and I don't blame him. They smell awful and they are ridiculously hard. On top of that, Vetriscience said, despite their satisfaction guarantee, they wouldn't refund my money. Terrible all the way around but thank you to Chewy customer service for assisting me.

  • Cat won't touch it

    By on

My poor cat has been suffering from long term lower UTIs. Not only do these treats stink to high heavens (which I thought may make it more appealing to him) but they are hard. My cat would not eat them. He did try but quickly spit it out. Better off getting the cranberry powder and mixing it in with the wet food. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!
