Description

This spray is a natural flea and tick repellent formulated by nature. There are no drugs or synthetic chemicals with no known toxic effects from licking the skin. Instructions

Shake vigorously before each use. Please read all directions carefully before application.

Spray generously on fur, including legs and stomach and then work into the coat if necessary. Depending on the thickness, type, and length of fur, the spray may require additional rubbing to get the product through the entire coat. Avoid contact with mucus membranes by covering the animals nose, mouth and eyes when applying near the animals head. Use a cloth to apply the product on the animals face. Reapply every 2-3 days or as needed before the animal goes outside. Reapply whenever the animal is thoroughly wet. Safe for daily use, if desired.

Avoid soaking the animal with the spray. Safe for use on puppies and kittens. Keep cap on bottle when not in use. This spray can also be used on the pets bedding and grooming tools. This formula is designed to be non-staining, but we recommend testing it on fabric or other surfaces before use.

Sprayed a little on a tick I found in my house and it KILLED it pretty much INSTANTLY! Used it on a wild kitten someone dropped off and it really helped BUT, I CAN NOT stomach the scent of this! I do not know what it is cuz it really does not smell bad but, I just can not do the scent! I tried using it but, it is like INSTANT headache! I gave it to my brother in law to use!

  • Sticky and dog licks it off

    By on

Not sure if this works as our dog keeps licking it off and then has digestive issues afterwards... He's also not keen on the spray noise. Smells nice though. I just ordered a Cedarcide liquid dispensing brush and will keep it for that. Hopefully with a brush the application is more even and closer to the skin so he won't lick constantly.

  • Seemed to help

I used this spray for three days on a camping trip. We were in a major tick infested area. Sprayed it on my dog several times a day, she did still get lots of ticks-I would guess maybe around 40 throughout the whole weekend. She ran all day everyday through woods and fields, so it may have helped, and I am going to continue using it. Also sprayed it on myself and my sister-I had three ticks and my sister had one over the whole weekend. Spray smells great. Worth a try!

  • Ok Results

I really wanted to get away from the topical treatments and use more natural products, but it just wasn't effective enough. It may repel for a little while, but I didn't want my pets afraid of me because I was constantly squirting them.

  • Great Spray!!No Flies

    By on

I have issues in the afternoon with flies and 3 dogs just being pestered. Rubbed into their fur around head and neck and sprayed a little on back end and legs and the flies left them alone. Lasted about 4 days and dogs smelled good!! I have two Anatolians and a Dane mix works great.

  • My pups & I love it

    By on

I was a little skeptical to try this spray due to a fear of the smell. I don't like chemical smells or oils that cause me to choke as I spray it. Surprisingly, I love the smell. I can smell more cinnamon. Our boy seems to be a magnet for fleas. So I tried it on him first. Omgoodness. It killed the fleas on contact. I used it on him once a day for 5 days and he was flea free. We're surrounded by stray cats, so as soon as I see one on him. I'll spray all 3 pups for 3 days and no more fleas. Originally I purchased the small bottle, just to try it. It lasted about 3 months. This time I'm getting the larger bottle. Thank you again Chewy for the awesome products you offer!!

  • Love this!

PROS: - Works. I applied it to my pitbull who seems to attract ticks like rice attracts white... Took her into the bush... and came out with a FEW ticks. They were easy to wipe away. In the past we have gone in and she comes out with ticks ALL OVER HER FACE, her EYES, her LIPS, her EARS... And I have to really pinch to get them off, and then I worry about tick diseases! CONS: -Smells like the products in it (clove, cinnamon? Garlic? Strong!). I'll happily have a stinky, tick free dog any day.

  • Works for flies

My dogs have great expensive collars for fleas and tick, so I did not buy this product for that reason and therefore I cannot review that part. I bought it because they get pestered by these flies, and little gnats that annoy them and me. I don't know why we have a problem with them this year but it was to the point I would not stay outside with them. After buying this, I tried it on myself, it smells good but extremely strong. Smells like a red hot candy (cinnamon). I spray on my hand and rub it all over all my dogs. I use about 3 sprays on my large 70 pound dog, and 1/2 spray on my 5lb. It works for me, and it works for my dogs. I recommend when applying to your dog, start with a small (maybe half squirt), because the smell is strong and some dogs may not like it. … more

  • Love this product!

We take my two dogs hiking a lot in woodsy areas and we also have property behind my house that is full of trees. Even though they are on Nexgard, when we come back I find at least one tick on both of the dogs. I bought this product and I have loved it! We spray it on anytime before going in a woodsy area and I have not found any ticks upon return! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks!
