My dogs have great expensive collars for fleas and tick, so I did not buy this product for that reason and therefore I cannot review that part. I bought it because they get pestered by these flies, and little gnats that annoy them and me. I don't know why we have a problem with them this year but it was to the point I would not stay outside with them. After buying this, I tried it on myself, it smells good but extremely strong. Smells like a red hot candy (cinnamon). I spray on my hand and rub it all over all my dogs. I use about 3 sprays on my large 70 pound dog, and 1/2 spray on my 5lb. It works for me, and it works for my dogs. Only thing I noticed is after the dogs have gone in and out the pool several times you have to reapply. But the smell will stay with them for a week. I recommend when applying to your dog, start with a small (maybe half squirt), because the smell is strong and some dogs may not like it.

It smells kind of funny but I'm ok with that, so long as it helps to keep my dog protected from fleas, ticks, mosquitos and flies. I'm doing everything I can to protect her and not put her at risk with possibly dangerous chemicals

I have used this for several years to keep the biting flies off my dog when we walk. I go through at least 2 bottles a year. It's safe for him (and me, too, if I forget bug spray for me).

We take my two dogs hiking a lot in woodsy areas and we also have property behind my house that is full of trees. Even though they are on Nexgard, when we come back I find at least one tick on both of the dogs. I bought this product and I have loved it! We spray it on anytime before going in a woodsy area and I have not found any ticks upon return! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks!

Chewy does an amazing job of offering many different products for your pets needs, and this one is a winner.
I had never heard of VetriScience products until I found them here on Chewy. This spray has allowed me to be in the woods with the dogs and not be covered in ticks. Zero Ticks!!! Its the first spray that has ever worked and I have tried many, yes I use this on myself too. Its completely safe and smells great. The dogs smell fantastic and have been flea and tick free. I also spray it on the furniture, cat trees ,dog beds and everywhere the dogs and cats sleep.
It's safe, not sticky and non-staining. This product is such a blessing for humans and pets. VetriScience is a company that you can trust, this product works.

I use it myself. IT WORKS GREAT! From someone that is a mosquito magnet I can tell you this product is amazing. I have so many mosquito catchers installed all around my house and this is the one product that actually works. I live in Florida near many lakes. I have not been outside early in the morning or late in the afternoon in years. Now I can. Well enough about me. I know if I this products works so great for me, I can be assured that it is working for every member of my family! Chewy is the least expensive price I have found.

I been using this product for awhile keeps the flies, flees, ticks and mosquitoes at bay.
The product works and I can Take comfort, knowing I am not putting more chemicals on my dog. While nothing is full proof,vetri-science comes close.
Has a great scent, while the scent can be a little strong at first, just apply it on your dog outside.
I am totally happy with this product and if you are looking for a alternative to chemical base products.Give it a shot.
Spend alot of time in the field and woods with my hunting dog,and so far he has comeback from the field with no ticks.
