Vet's Best Flea and Tick Spray is far and away better than the other natural flea/tick products I've tried because it ACTUALLY WORKS! I apply it by spraying it on an aloe grooming wipe and then wipe my pets down with the wet wipe. This way they're not freaked out by the sound of the pump spray. No, the critters don't particularly like the smell of the product but neither do they like the smell of the chemically based products! Yes, you do have to reapply it every few days and if your dog swims, you have to reapply it after your dog is dry. In additions to fleas, ticks and mosquitos, Vets' Best also kills ants and spiders which I love because again, no chemicals!! Because I live in a heavily tick infested area I do use a Scalibor Collar to kill the ticks....my one concession to a chemically based product...but the ticks carry too many diseases and my dog swims daily so I use this 2 pronged approach. I'm going to buy the Vets' Best Yard Spray for my dog's favorite areas in the yard so that the nasty biting buggers are killed before my dog has a chance to lie down in her "dog caves."

the one good thing of this spray is the smell. But it doesn't kill the fleas. Plus my dog hates it.

I have to point out that I use a "many-pronged system". That, and mosquitos and especially deer ticks are a major problem where I live. (I use essential oil flea collars, essential oil squeeze on topicals, sprays, home/bedding spray, shampoos, and feed Brewers yeast/garlic supplement) I like that this product is not extremely heavily scented, and does not leave a heavy/sticky residue on their coats. I have found ticks on my dog, but they have not been borrowed or biting just kind of hanging out on the dogs (or dead on the floor) and mosquitos and the nasty little black flies do definitely seem to keep their distance from my dogs - the one thing I don't understand is why this company puts an emphasis on the fact that there's no cedar oil, cedar is a well known pest repellent, and from what I've read "some dogs May be allergic to it, but otherwise it's not harmful"

Didn't work. It says it's supposed to kill fleas and ticks on contact but it doesn't. We still found a flea on our border collie.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tootsie Nice product.
Has a nice clove scent, not overwhelming and does not last so long that it becomes annoying. Did not cause a rash on my sensitive skin, short hair Boston Terrier like some flea products do. Seems to work OK but can't tell how long it keeps fleas off. Been using it every day, once in the morning and again at night. Once it builds up on her fur/skin, it does not need to be sprayed on so thick, a light spray seems to work. Washes off fairly well when she gets bathed.

We have found Vet's Best Flea & Tick spray is effective in repelling Ticks as we take our daily walk in the woods. This is easy to carry and to use as needed. Safe for your pet too. The odor is very pleasant.
