I've been giving these treats to my two cats every day for the last 3 years. I've noticed some consistency issues in the past, where some bottles have softer treats and others are so hard that I have trouble breaking them up with my fingers. However, through all of this, my cats have always still loved to eat these every morning, and they seem to have helped with hairball control.
Not so with the bottle that I received in my auto ship and opened today. I was initially excited to see that the treats were a little thinner, which made them much easier to break apart. But neither of my cats would eat them. They both sniffed and walked away. My male cat even checked out his sister's treat and deemed it inedible before giving up.
This was previously a great product, and hopefully they will fix whatever the issue is and it will be worth the money again. Until then, I'll be requesting a refund and exploring other hairball control options.

My 4 cats loved these supplements so much that they're called "treats" in our house. They'd come running when I'd say, "who wants a treat?" or shake the bottle. The last order I rec'd are different. They look different and my cats won't eat them. I called Chewy and they gave me a refund for the bottles I bought. I also called the phone number on the bottle and they said others have called to say the same thing, that all of a sudden their cats won't eat them. They are looking into this and maybe had a batch omitting something? They are also going to send me a complimentary bottle when another batch is ready in return for feedback. They also offered to reimburse me for the bottles I had but I told them Chewy has already done so. If they find out the problem or go back to the original recipe they will get FIVE stars from me! These work great and have the best ingredients I've found in a Hairball Relief supplement.

First thing I noticed was the new label, very close in apperance to the old one. The new label has a darker purple banner a little higher up the label and the green leaves are on the lower left area of the label. Older label has leaves along the right side of the label Sorry for the blurry images but you can see the leaves differ on this label compared to the old
I usually mix my tablets in my cats wet food and it is now very gritty. It must not smell the same anymore because they would also eat them dry like treats. They will not eat the wet food if it is mixed in nor eat the dry tablets any longer

This product is terrible. It is huge, and even though it breaks easily into smaller pieces, my cat will not touch it! It was a total waste of money!

My cat won't eat it unless I crush it and mix it with wet food. I don't want to feed her wet food twice a day, so I can't give her the correct dose to find out if it works.

I got this for my one cat that has hairballs did not work but I gave it to my sister & they work on her cat maybe it works on some cats but not all I will still get this when I order my pets food & get this vets best for my sister I still gave it a 5star because it doe's work thankyou chewy.com

Only needed to use 1/2 tablet once a day for my petite cat. Crushed it and mixed it with wet food. She ate it right down.

Thank you Lisa for posting this review! I also called Chewy to let them know that my cat who has eaten these for years was suddenly not interested in the tablets either! Yes, I agree that they are definitely softer than they usually are, it was super easy to break them apart. I just got off the phone with the Consumer Affairs department and they have made the same arrangement with me. They are still researching the problem and waiting on a new batch. Not counting this batch I have always told friends about this tablet, I'm a fan.
