Cat food can drive you crazy. I used to only use wellness, then some of my cats got UTI problems. Of course vet RX deit. They got better, but ingredients were terrible. wellnes said complete. That was years ago. My male cat 20 years old put to rest last month. I stopped using the prescription. Only have 4 girls, male cats are more pron to UTI. The 1 concern to me, why are the kibbles shaped like peas. Eat them, but very hard to chew. So they either choke on them. Drop more on the floor, don't understand the shape. I would buy put cats just don't like the shape. And food is their cats life.

While my hungry cat doesn't like the new weight management cat food, I must say the order process and delivery is the best one could ask for. I recently order the 42 lb Scoop Away litter and was totally thrilled that it was here the next day. I recommend Chewy.com to anyone!!!! Bravo Chewy!!!

  • Good substitute I think

My vet would not authorize a refill of our usual prescription weight loss food so the customer service representative recommended this brand which I was thankful for. Unfortunately, the cats have diarrhea now but I think it's just because it's a change to the same food they've eaten for years.

  • OK...What Now?

So, originally my six cats loved this food. I give my cats a treat every few days by giving them Wellness canned cat food and one of the cats prefers the dry food over the wet food. For these reasons I'm giving 5 stars. After months of feeding them this dry cat food a strange thing happened. After filling the dog's dish with Wellness dog food, the cats flocked around the dog dish and started eating her food. She had to wait until they had their fill before she would eat. From that day on, they have gone to the dog dish to eat ignoring their own food. I replaced their feeder with a new bowl that I filled daily. No difference. I tried not leaving the dog food out. They all just got grouchy until So, originally my six cats loved this food. I replaced their feeder with a new bowl that I filled daily. No difference. I tried not leaving the dog food out. They all just got grouchy until I filled the dog dish again. The cat food remained untouched. I added some dog food to the cat food. No difference. I brought back the feeder and partially filled it with cat and dog food. One of my cats pulled the food out of the feeder and picked through the food eating only the dog food. The cat food remained scattered around the feeder. I'm thinking of ordering a different flavor but I get auto shipments and have two unopened bags in my garage. Nutritional needs differ between dogs and cats...a lot. I'm starting to worry that the cats aren't getting their proper nutrition from their beloved dog food, especially the one that doesn't eat the wet food. So Wellness gets a well deserved five stars. It's not their fault my cats have turned mental and have an identity crises. … more

  • Not Well Liked at All

I am sorry to say the cat is turning his nose up at this and hasn't touched it since it came in the mail. It was a large bag and now it will go to waste here at this house. I will be headed to the local big box pet store for the brand he likes.. :(

  • Cats ate this just fine...

    By on

It was a little worried when I read some of the reviews that the cats wouldn't like it, but they ate it right away from day one. I'm mixing it 50/50 with my grain-free Call of the Wild and hope to transition to just this. It seems like they'll eat it just fine.

  • Surprised that my cats hate it

    By on

One of my cats is on a diet and since I got this food she doesn't want to eat much any more! So I guess it's working... But I am really surprised because I always thought Wellness was a good brand and thought they both would love it. They both wait until they're starving before they will touch it. My cats aren't picky about dry food usually

Switched both my eight yr old and 2 yr old to this from the regular indoor food. They both have no tissues eating it and seem to not go through it as fast.
