Fresh, Whole Food Ingredients

These recipes contain no meat by-products, artificial colors, flavorings, preservatives, corn, wheat or soy.

CRANBERRIES

Excellent source of vitamin C and unique natural source of tannins that help prevent harmful bacteria from thriving in the urinary tract.

SWEET POTATOES

Excellent source of complex carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and beta carotene. The starch in sweet potatoes converts to sugar easily and provides quick energy.

BLUEBERRIES

Rich in vitamin A and C, potassium, fiber and various carotenoids which are valuable antioxidants. Blueberries also provide flavor, taste and color of fresh fruits.

CHICORY ROOT EXTRACT

Contains vitamin C, an antioxidant, and provides important health benefits as a natural source of inulin, a soluble fiber that serves as a prebiotic.

GROUND FLAXSEED

Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids which improve the shine of the pet's coat and high in fiber which adds bulk to the diet. Flaxseed also aids in the movement of food through the digestive system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cats love this brand First Wellness brand is number 1 in my opinion. My cats have sensitive tummy's and they have no issue gobbling up this food. I feed the dry to my pup and she loves it too!! May 16, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by A Bit Disappointing I didn't realize until I bought this, that it isn't the grain free ones like I usually buy from Wellness: I think the fact that it is the same price made me think it was grain free still (since grain free usually costs more) but I see now there are a couple of flavors that are not grain free that look pretty much identical just without the little yellow "grain free" label . Separate from that, my cats just don't like this flavor as much. They'll pick at it but don't nearly enjoy it like the other (g.f.) flavors. It also isn't as moist as the other flavors so it leaves behind a lot of residue in their dishes. Hopefully we'll make it through the case without them completely snubbing it - but I personally won't be buying this flavor again. March 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Our cats love it! We tried this food because our friends feed it to their cats and they have gorgeous coats..so healthy. So we tried it and they love it! They're waiting impatiently by their dishes in the morning!!!! November 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by My cats love Wellness Cat Food We have bought wellness canned cat food for years. All of our cats were stray or lost. Most were thin and malnourished. They all look good and are healthy now. One of our cats is 20 yrs. old, two are 10 yrs. old and one 3 yrs. Their favorites are Chicken and Herring, Turkey and Salmon, Chicken, Turkey and we just added the Salmon and Trout. So far, 2 of the kitties liked it and 2 didn't but those two take time with new foods. We rotate through the different flavors and also have a small small amount of Wellness dry food offered during the day. Will continue to buy Wellness. Our cats vet approved when I took in the cans for her to read the label of ingredients. November 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kitty favorite! My kitty babies LOVE this flavor. They push their way to get to it from the first one's bowl while I scoop it into the other kitty's bowl. It's like "kitty crack" in our house. It does contain chicken, which typically bothers my girl, but this flavor doesn't bother her bowels, maybe because the other ingredients are fish. Anyway, both cats think it's the best. It certainly does smell like it's flavor name. September 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wellness cat food My cats have been on the Wellness diet all of their lives (approaching 10 years now) and they are extremely healthy and their coats are shiny (even the vet commented on this aspect)! I've had cats before with different diets and more vet visits. I don't know if it's because of the food they're eating that we have avoided the vet or if it's because I have healthier cats in general. I will say that this food is quite expensive, and I'm very grateful that Chewy.com makes it somewhat affordable. My two cats split a 5.5 ounce can each morning and I supplement with the dry. Rated 5 out of 5 by 5 cats like this better than Core fish flavor I feed my 5 cats different flavors of Wellness canned, and prefer the ones that are "grainfree" because grains aren't good for cats' health. While this flavor does have a little grain in it, it is a healthier grain, oats. One of my rescued cats is really finicky and gradually learning to like Wellness instead of the junk she was probably eating before. She prefers fish, especially salmon, so loves this Wellness salmon and trout flavor. I give my 5 cats Wellness Core grainfree fish flavor sometimes, but they aren't as crazy about that flavor as they are the salmon and trout. January 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by cats seem to love it even cold right out of the fridge Most of the Wellness cat food I purchase is grain-this flavor is not. I buy the 12oz cans and the cats seem to love it even cold right out of the refrigerator. Although Sunny still has some digestive problems, he has not had any urinary blockages while on the Wellness canned cat food. I stopped using the veterinarian's cat food a few years ago and went searching for my own. I found the Wellness brand and have been very happy with the product and the variety of flavors.
