Feeding Instructions

Feed according to the age, size and activity of your cat. If fed alone, feed 1 oz for each pound of bodyweight daily, best fed twice a day. Your cat should have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening.

Transition Instructions

Weruva always recommends switching your cat or dog's diet slowly and to adjust according to your pet's digestive stability. Typically, a 6 day transition suites most pet's needs. We recommend feeding a mix of 25% Weruva & 75% of the previous food for the first two days. For the next two days, feed 50% Weruva & 50% of the previous diet. Days 5 & 6, Feed 75% Weruva with 25% of the previous diet. Your pet should be fully adjusted to an exclusive high-quality Weruva diet thereafter.

  • For Gravy Lovers

    By on

My very finicky, gravy lover LOVES all of these Weruva pouches. 1/2 pouch per serving = 2 servings per packet. The chunks are not too chunky, but I still have to mash them up (and she still licks around most of it). I bought this one to try as an alternative to Solid Gold Tuna (fearing too much mercury in Tuna every day). Now she ignores the Solid Gold Tuna and begs for Weruva. I highly recommend this for older, skinny cats who need something delicious to help them eat more.

  • Review of Food by My Cats

My four cats love Weruva, with the exception of anything with chicken (for any brand of cat food). . I try to slip it in with the fish flavors, but they are wise to my efforts. Overall, we (they) really like Weruva.

  • Didn't like

This looks like such a healthy food but neither of my 2 oldsters would eat it. I'm buying soft foods now because one has bad teeth and the other has oral cancer:( I'd still recommend it because of the wholesome ingredients.

  • Our guilty pleasure

    By on Top 250 Contributor

This has the most wonderful texture--chunks and strips and shreds and morsels in a light gravy. Great for epicurean cats who bite, tear and lick. I buy one box monthly (and a box of Love Me Tender) for special treats. All of the Weruva pouch foods are too high in carbs (15%) and too low in calories (~70) to use as meals in my rotation. Also, I don't want the cats eating fish. But, geez, what's life without guilty pleasures?? Definitely recommended as a sublime snack.

  • Our Cat Loves Weruva - Cats in the Kitchen Pouches

    By on

Our 15 year old loves these new pouches from Weruva. He also likes the Cats in the Kitchen Cans, but he really goes to town on the pouches with all its glorious gravy. Our kiddo also has a heart condition which requires him to have low sodium food...of which most varieties he turns his nose up at. Almost all of the Cats in the Kitchen Pouches (and cans) have very low sodium (as far as cat food is concerned) and it is fantastic we found these that he gobbles up. Also, his coat is silky smooth and softer than ever. I would highly recommend this food.

  • Cats love the flavor. Texture needed modification

    By on

My Siamese are starting to like this food. One has kidney issues and to help him make his 18th birthday, we cut up the meat fibers in this food and he loves it. He has no teeth and has gained 4 ounces and is doing well. The other finishes up the food whenever she has a chance. She is on a diet. Great food for fussy cats.

  • Looks tasty but...cat was not impressed

    By on

I bought this for my early stage renal kitty because of the lower phosphorous levels, and because I didn't have to buy a case. She is a gravy lickin' pate girl, so I though this might not go over. It didn't. She was interested, picked a little, ate some, licked the juice, and was done. That's only the first pouch. I blended a pouch, and it went a little better. One of my other kitties loved it. I also like the convenient pouches.
