My cat used to cry, every morning, after eating. I took him to the vet, and was told he had pancreatitis, and gave me a special, and expensive food for him. It didn't help. I tried this, yummy looking food, that he loves, and instantly, he has no more tummy aches! so happy, with Chewy! their deliveries are well packed and arrive super quickly! If you have automatic shipments, you can be sure they arrive when you expect them too. Chewy's online customer service is the best!

I've tried 3 kinds of this food and neither cat would eat it. I still would recommend it though because the ingredients are so good. But it won't help if they won't eat it. I recently purchased another brand for senior cats from Chewy. It came yesterday and they ate it yay !

  • Cats like, but don't love.

Cats like this well enough, but don't love. I like b/c of the extra hydration it provides, although I'm not a huge fan of tapioca starch. I do find that the pouches have varying amounts of chicken. Some have what I would consider normal for a 3 oz can/pouch. Some seem a little light on the meat. All in all though I think it's a good product and really Weruva seems like the last pet food manufacturer to offer formulas without controversial ingredients like K3 (menadione), sodium selenite, carrageenan, etc. And I do really appreciate that.

  • We love it, Meow

I have two Siamese cats - Wasabi and Sashimi. I had trepidation when offering them pumpkin and tuna, however they fought to eat this 'delicacy'. Recently I noticed that there is a pumpkin and chicken dish, so I ordered it, and of course they love that too. Who would have thought - pumpkin?

  • One of the few foods my picky eater devours

    By on

I have a picky male F2 Savannah that primarily eats a raw diet. I also give him 1 pouch of Weruva Pumpkin Lickin Chicken every night before bedtime. He always licks up the pumpkin soup first and then eats the chicken. I've also tried the canned Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken in Gravy, but he'd only eat a few bites and then leave the rest on his plate until I'd end up having to throw it away. The pumpkin soup is definitely what attracts my cat to this food. I also like that the chicken looks like something a human would eat, unlike the dog version (Funk in the Trunk). Luckily my mom's picky Yorkie doesn't care what it looks like and devours it. Chewy also has the best price I've found on this food. I have a picky male F2 Savannah that primarily eats a raw diet. • Picky Kitty Approved!

I used to only give these pouches to my kitties as a treat once in a while, but it is all one eats anymore. After dealing with a life threatening obstruction, I'm happy he is eating at all. I feel good knowing he is getting the nutrition he needs from the real shreds of chicken. I also LOVE that this has a ton of gravy to help him with his liquid intake.

  • Great Soupy Meal

I was looking for something with a lot of liquid for my cat. This looked interesting, although I was nervous about the pumpkin soup. Didn't really sound like something a cat would be interested in. But I guess it goes with the chicken, which I know she likes, as she really liked this Weruva food. I've tried a couple other Weruva varieties. So far this is my cat's favorite, by far.

  • Peanut is an extremely picky eater, but loves this.

    By on

He looks at the packet the food comes in strangely, or I should say he did at first. Now he meows and looks at me then looks at the packets on top of the refrigerator. He WANTS this food. I was surprised, but he likes it. He has to have food with pumpkin in it because he has problems with constipation. He loves the broth, which I love because he doesn't drink much water and I am afraid of dehydration. He loves the tiny pieces of chicken and gobbles up the shreds. So far, Peanut is happy with this food and SO, I am also.

  • A nice treat for my cat and my kitten!

It's hard to believe that there is 3 oz in the pouch - maybe that includes the weight of the pouch - in putting the ingredients side by side with a 3 oz can of another canned food - it was significantly smaller in portion.

My kitty really likes this food. She can eat it more easily than the canned chicken with gravy.
