Days 5 & 6, Feed 75% Weruva with 25% of the previous diet. Your pet should be fully adjusted to an exclusive high-quality Weruva diet thereafter.
I used to love Weruva but at a certain point a couple years ago, I can't remember when, the quality of their meat was suddenly terrible. I stopped ordering their food and tried others, but recently decided to reorder as I wanted a good fish dish for my cat and forgot why I had stopped ordering this.
Wow, it's terrible. You can see it in the attached picture, but the fish chunks are so big and tough not even a person would eat it. There are still scales on most of the pieces!! Disgusting and overpriced--DO NOT BUY!
The only good thing about this food is the can it comes in is thick and won't dent like some other brands do.
Only canned food my cat will eat
on Jan 10, 2017
I needed to find a wet food that included pumpkin (fiber). I tried many, but this is the only one my cat will eat. She only eats a little at a time, so I like that Weruva offers this in a small can.
Great food, and more protein and less carbs than other foods
on Oct 13, 2016
Cats need protein, and I'm happy to say this food provides them with a higher amount per can than other foods I looked at. You do pay more for this kind of quality, but my cats are not weighed down with extra useless carbohydrates any more, and they are frisky and energetic.
My boy cat has been getting a little chubby, so I started looking more carefully at the (always grain free, always canned food) that I've been feeding him. I was interested to learn that there is wide variation in the amount of protein in grain-free, canned cat foods. To do your own comparison, subtract the amount of moisture in the can (listed on the back, as a percent), from 100, to obtain the total solids in the can.Cats need protein, and I'm happy to say this food provides them with a higher amount per can than other foods I looked at. Then, take the amount of protein listed, divide it by the number you got for solids, and multiply by 100. Weruva has the most protein I can find for my cats- twice what I had been feeding them before in what I thought was a reputable brand. Even better, the cats absolutely love it-- they gobble down the chunks of meat eagerly and happily, and I feel better knowing they aren't eating a puree or pate- just nice chunks of real recognizable food.… more
My Cats Won't Eat It
on Oct 30, 2016
Unfortunately, after buying a whole case of this, my cats decided that they hate it and won't eat it.
It's kind of watery and more soupy than what they're used to.
One of my cats eats it when she's super hungry but the others won't touch it at all.
Full of bones
on Jul 14, 2016
I have been very pleased with the Weruva canned cat foods, until now. Based on reviews I decided to try the Meow Luau to add some variety to my kitty's meals. I opened my 3rd can of the case today and I removed 5 full bones and found multiple pieces of bone around 1/2 inch long. I do not recommend this product, unfortunately I still have almost a full case.

Whenever I put this flavor in a bowl for my 6 cats, I know it will be gone in the morning. Definitely a keeper.

I like Weruva beacuse of the limited number of ingredients and the quality meat being used. My husbad says - this looks like real food. This particular flavor is one all our guys enjoy. Highly recommend
My cats love this food!

I have a Bengal who is very picky and has suffered from a lot of gastrointestinal issues. She has been on a prescription diet but that has not helped significantly. Since changing to Weruva she is doing much better and loves to eat this food. My long haired cat loves it also.
