Rated 5 out of 5 by Anna Paw Lickin'!
I wanted to switch my cat's food after a bladder infection. After a great deal of research, both online and taste test, and a quick survey of friends who foster cats, I opted for Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken. My cat loves it! It's worth the price to know that he's not only getting high-quality food but that he loves it as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Renee 2 cats like this somewhat, the other won't touch it
I think it might be the texture that's throwing them off a bit but two cats will eat some of this and the other won't touch it unless he's really hungry and then will barely nibble. I was hoping he'd get used to it but I've been trying for nearly a couple of months already and he hasn't gotten past it. So I'd recommend it for it's apparent quality and i like that it smells and looks like 'real food' but i wish there were a couple of texture choices

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cookie Great product
My 3 cats love fish but after reading reviews about Weruva I tried the Paw lickin Chicken. They are loved it for 3-4 days and now don't want to eat it. I also bought variety pack and they seem to love all the other flavors, especially the fish. I feed 8 outside cats and they love it so no waste!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by MommomJ Disappointed in product.
When I opened my first can I was surprised to see it was mainly gravy, very little meat. All the cans were that way. NONE of my cats would eat it. They prefer food with gravy too. My one glutton cat who will eat everything, tried to cover it up. Not a good sign.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Grace2Cats I like the fact that this product is so healthy. I feel good feeding it to my cats.
I have 2 very different, finicky females. One is totally addicted to dry food from a previous life and I am trying desperately to turn her onto wet food. Having tried several of the other grain-free brands with no success I decided to try Weruva, specifically the Paw Lickin Chicken and she seems to like it very much. My other cat seems to like the flavor but she is older, has lost many of her teeth and has a difficult time chewing through the chicken (prefers) pate style. My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the protein in this food was a little less stringy and more chopped up because I find the cats like to lick the gravy and tend to leave some of the 'meat' behind. Also, a can does not go very far because it is a lot of liquid (a plus if your cat runs dry), but it can be expensive as you go through a lot. Lately I have been mixing it with other food to stretch. Overall, satisfied with the product and will probably try some of their other flavors as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lona81 mine won't eat it
I have two cats that will eat almost ANY food I buy --except this one. It is long shreds of chicken in a light watery gravy. My one cat will lick up the gravy and that's all. I tried chopping up the chicken to resemble other foods but that didn't work either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Halley01 HEALTHY CAT FOOD!!
The Weruva Chicken Paw Lickin Cat food Is excellent. I switched to a pure can food when my cat developed stones and after some research discovered that it was probley the dry food he was eating. Cats are CARNEVOURS and should be eating meat(protein). When not on this diet their body's do not break the dry food down and develop problems. the Protein gets used as energy and their body's know how to break it down. The cat will even poop less cause most of the food is being used as energy and not waste product. Since I switched to this food THANK GOD! he has never had a problem since. A woman in the vet had her cat in for the 3rd time with the same problem.. I just wish I knew then the proper diet. I would have shared with her and maybe her cat's health would have been better for the switch. Yes, the food is a little more money. But compared to a Vet bill every six months it's well worth the expense! Hope this is helpful-I wish I knew when I first got him, he may never have had to go through the trauma.
