Can these be used in the microwave?

This bowl is made of melamine. Melamine is a very safe material, and it is widely used for outdoors and kids tableware. But in general, melamine should not be microwaved, because when exposed to high temperatures the chemicals from melamine may get transferred to food. That mainly concerns humans, who eat large portions and enjoy hot meals. As for cats, you will probably need to heat up their food only for a few seconds, in which case the bowl will not get hot. Please use your discretion, depending on how often and how much you need to microwave it.

Too big for cats

My cat is sick and not eating. I decided to try new dishes. These are really nice but I think they're too large in diameter for a cat, or at least for a sick cat who doesn't want to exert herself. The dog is using them.

Love them!

My persian cat has a pushed in nose and small face so she needed something that would be easy for her to eat her food and her whiskers not to get irritated. She eats with ease and devours her food in these bowls and drinks her water with no issues. Very easy to clean, non stick bowls. I highly recommend for the kitties :)

Smart buy, nice product

Very nice material, easy to pick up, easy to clean, and my cats eat every last crumb. I'm not sure about the company's claim that it helps cats maintain a healthy weight. My cats seem to be eating more -- they don't leave crumbs so their bowls are often empty (which means I refill the bowls more).

New flat bowls

Got 2 sets. Three f or inside. One for ferral outside where my heavy ceramic bowl was thrown off porch and broken. New bowl has not moved. I am pleased! Thanks Chewy!

Work as advertised

One of our cats is the messiest eater and this bowl helps him to keep the food in the bowl. When we give treats in our other bowls there is usually some left over in the base of the sides, this bowl gets licked clean. If they had a smaller version I would but that one also.

love these bowls

i’ve been looking for whisker relief bowls that weren’t horribly expensive and these are perfect. my cats seem much more comfortable eating, i love that it comes in a set of 2 i bought 2 packs so both kitties can have a clean bowl daily

Exactly what I needed for whisker fatigue

I would recommend these bowls to anyone whose cats leave food on their plates due to whisker fatigue or frustration. They are worth more than they cost. My cat who used to walk away from his wet food halfway in once it got too frustrating to eat now eats all his food. It is very easy for me to spread it around the surface of the bowl so it doesn't get mashed into one mass that's harder to dig into which was what he did not like. I only feed them 1/4 cup kibble or 1/4 of a 5.5oz can wet food each meal and it is the perfect size for those portions. They are also surprisingly sturdy, I did not expect them to feel that solid. Also the material is very easy to clean which is a blessing for those of us with no dishwasher :)

Awesome Food Dishes!!

I needed some new dishes for my Dexter (cat) and thought I would try these. He rarely ate all of his wet food and I was so surprised that he ate it all, the first time eating from this dish! Guess the deeper bowls will be for only water, now. Ordering another set!

Great Bowls

Wanted something with a little edge so whiskers didn't prevent my fur babies from getting to all their food. These are perfect...weighted so they can't push them around.
