One of our 2 dogs is obsessed with kitty box “snacks.” Our cats’ boxes are in the basement, but no normal pet gate can stop him. He’s 65 lbs and has somehow -unbelievably! channels the magician, Houdini! - managed to squirm through cat gate openings - but not this one! Not too hard to install but you do need 2 people and a jig saw. The rubber comb is needed if you don’t want it to look weird.
This was easy to install (< 1 hour total) and it works. Cats go in and out, dog can't. Looks good too.
This thing is awesome! Our cats have their one litter box in the downstairs bathroom and my dog keeps trying to mark his territory so we have to lock it every time now to keep him out. We wanted the cats to still be able to go in there so we thought this was perfect and they LOVE it! It was a pain to put together and you definitely need two people to do it but it can be done!
Easy to install (be careful of vibration during cutting if you have a hollow core door), and my cats took to it immediately. I was concerned about the size, but my 12-pound, average build cats seem to have no problem with it. The brush feature doesn’t really touch them, so I can’t speak to that feature.
Used as entrance to an outdoor shelter on porch. Cat entered as soon at shelter completed and placed! Door was about 1.5 inches thick, used template to cut opening. Needed two people to attach cat door...not sure we followed tightening sequence though. Looks fabulous!
Easy to install, clean appearance, lets my cats escape little hands and keep their toilets out of sight but easy to access for cleaning.
Needed this! Easy to install. The cat likes the brush in the center
This door is awesome. Ms. Kitty going in/out like it’s a game!
This was easy to install, had simple instructions and looks great. We have received many compliments just because of how neat it looks on the door. It is used to let the cats unto the laundry room so they can access their Cat Genie litter box without having to leave the door open. The cats took to it immediately.
I've been buying these Cat-Holes for 10+ years now, to put on doors in various houses I've lived in. And they never fail to deliver! You do have to have some mechanical know-how to install it, obviously, and a jigsaw (or even a handsaw, or something that will cut in a circle pattern). If you're looking for the white plastic model, as shown here, do not order it from Shamazon, they'll send you the wrong model (the wooden/brown colored one!) Chewy did a great job and shipped this to me lightning-fast! Highly recommended.
