What's great for scratching AND a guaranteed way to add a touch of class to the living room? Sure, fancy new drapes would do the trick, but a designer cat scratcher's a bit more economical. The Catit Chaise-Shape Scratcher with Catnip is a designer-decor-inspired cat scratcher made from long-lasting corrugated cardboard. It lets your furry friend satisfy his need-to-claw instinct as well as the need to destroy anything that looks like it shouldn't be scratched — all without breaking the bank.
Provides appropriate place for cats to satisfy urge to scratch.
I have two cats a year old. They like to pull at carpet. They use there cat tree post some. Never could get them to use this item. Used catnip for the first time on this product. They had some fascination with that. Meaning the would roll in it. Sometimes they just push the toy around to get to it. Maybe I tried the product to late. Hopefully others will have better luck with the product. I'll update if there behavior changes.

I have two fourteen year old Siamese brothers who basically just sleep and eat. When I introducted them to this scratcher they literally came to life. They scratch, rub, and sleep on it. They roll on it when the catnip is added. They do not like to share it and if one is on it the other wants to be there too. It is the best product I have bought in a long time for them and they love it. I would highly recommend it.
VERY BAD ODOR
on Nov 3, 2018
This was disappointing for several reasons, first was a very bad smell, to be honest it smelled of vomit. I had to put it out in the garage. Beyond that it was not worth the price, poor construction with low grade materials. My cat would not go near it.
Cute but Stinky

This is cute and my cats use it a little but they're not thrilled with it. As some others have reviewed, it stinks to high heaven. It also tips easily. Not bad for the price but I wouldn't buy another.
Sturdy and durable scratcher

This appears to be an excellent value. I was a little concerned about how durable it would be given the price tag, but I think it should last quite a while. So far the cats have only scratched it a little, but I expect them to take to it very nicely because they prefer cardboard over other scratching materials.

I have five cats and they have all scratched this chaise; however, my oldest cat, Abbey, loves this item. I have gotten up in the middle of the night to find her laid out on this chaise, sleeping ever so soundly, (pictures to come, if I can capture).
Both of my cats love this

This is great for small cats. My small one loves to scratch on it which is great for her claws and our furniture as well. I would recommend this.

I got this out of the package and it was a instant hit with my cats. I like that it is double sided so theres more scratching surface.
Shocked Beyond Belief

8 month old Ice Cream Trio ( Haagen, Daaz and Sundae) have not left this scratching pad alone since I placed it in the middle of the livingroom. They chew on it, they scratch on it, they alter its position stand, lying, up side down ... all three work on it alone and together. Shocking to me
