Not long lasting
By Tomo on Jan 5, 2021
I don’t recommend this. This might be more suitable for a kitten. After a a couple of months of my 16 pound kitty scratching it, it’s bending in the middle and slides around. Doesn’t look very satisfying for him to scratch up. I even flipped it around to see if it might get more traction on the other side. I bought it because it was cheaper than the inclined scratcher pads semi-enclosed in a box. Oh well! Gave it a try but I’m going back to those after this one. Oh and it makes a mess. Just sayin. I mean, they all do but this seems like it “sheds” more. Bring out the Dustbuster.

do not recommend
By SmartCat on Nov 23, 2020
Initially I thought the design was interesting and would provide my cat additional stimulation- unfortunately the catnip additive falls through the corrugated box design and I’ve just realized why my cat isn’t using this scratch box - he’s tearing up my carpet underneath. I have the traditional scratch box and he loves those but this one is a complete fail. I’ve removed that particular room size rug from the area because no amount of vacuuming appears to keep him from going back to that same place and clawing the carpet.

A huge hit
By KitKatsMom on Jan 11, 2021
Kit Kat loved this from the moment I put it on the floor, before I had even put any catnip on it! It's probably her most favorite possession and she often falls asleep on it after giving herself a manicure.

My Picky Cat Loca
By Locathecat on Jan 11, 2021
So far my cat hasn't scratched it, so I'm kind of bummed out. I guess she doesn't like that kind of material..... my cat is weird. lol! I will probably give it to my mom's cats. They love these scratchers.

my cat uses it

We placed this next to the arm of the couch where my cat likes to scratch and now he scratches this instead. Sometimes he needs to be redirected to it but mostly he scratches this now!

Both of my cats love the fact that they can climb on this and sit on it while scratching. Will definitely purchase again!

Junk - Do not waste your money.
By Christine on Nov 28, 2020
Catnip falls right through it. One side wasn’t even tacked all the way on. Cat basically chewed a piece off and that was the only time he was interested in it. Stick to an actual scratching POST.

Restful Chaise-Shape Scratcher
By Cylb on Nov 4, 2020
My older cat, Sweetie, loves this scratcher. He rests on it and scratches it up. My other cat cannot even get near it to use it. I will have to order another one as Sweetie is using this up so quickly.
