Of 3 toys purchased for Christmas, this one seems to be the second favorite of both of my cats. They do play with it quite a bit but I can't give it 5 stars for several reasons. First off, the ball had a little tag that you have to remove before using it, and I'm assuming it is supposed to light up but it does not. Maybe I just got a dud. The other issue I have is that it seems to be made pretty cheaply. The cats have been able to pop some of the blue top parts off of it a few times, and those few pieces don't seem to want to stay in place after only having this item and using it for less than a week. I had considered buying more of the circuit to put together with this but it already takes up a good amount of space as is, and it's not something I want to constantly break down and put back together.
I bought the Super Roller Circuit for one of my cats who suffers from incessant boredom. However, the assembly instructions are for the regular circuit toy in that the regular circuit comes with two endcaps, whereas the Super Roller Circuit does not. This is very confusing, so I contacted Catit to request what I thought were missing parts. They referred me to Chewy since I purchased it here. Chewy was kind enough to send me a replacement, and it was then that I realized the assembly instructions did not mention the difference between the Super and the regular. So, if you purchase this toy, be aware of the differences. The assembly method is the same, but each has a different parts list.
It’s a great toy but too realistic and my cat was terrified of it…. Scared him and he ran off hissing. Now I’m coaxing him out and he’s terrified it’s still around lol. Sniffing and walking very carefully trying to make sure it’s gone. Don’t get this toy if u have a cat whose naturally scared of things. It’s a great toy but sadly it’s too realistic for my boy.
I bought this for my 2 cats, but unfortunately, they did not like it. One is almost 13 and the other going on 11, but I thought maybe this would help them be more active. My 13-year-old female does get spunky once in a while, but she just did not pay any attention to this. It was easy to put together and the ball did light up, but I had to return it. No sense of keeping it if they were not going to play with it.
We ordered this thinking our kittens would love it. Opened the box and it requires assembly...fine but 2 of the blue 'tops' for the curved pieces were missing and one of the others was broken. I called Chewy and thanks to their amazing customer service, a new one was sent out right away. This one had a similar issue, but we were able to take the working parts from the 2 sets to cobble together 1 fully functional toy! The kitties love it! The only other bummer is that the ball lights up and the light stays on...forever...so, just sitting back waiting for the battery to die.
This was ordered specifically while I searched for a more interactive toy for my two cats. First, I was impressed with the quality and secondly, surprised the ball moved in different directions. I must have missed that part of the description Prior to purchasing. If your cat likes the three-tiered tower with balls, I recommend this product.
My 3 adult cats wouldn't even look or try to be curious about new toy. And my 4 1/2 month kitten almost was interested. I tried showing her how to play with it. Only is fun to her if I am the one push the ball back and forward. Then that even became boring to her.
I bought this a month ago and they play with it daily. Sometimes my two boys play with it together. Cat cooperation is fun to see. Take your time putting it together read the directions I broke a piece trying to shove it together but fixed with a piece of tape.
We love this and its really cool because you can link more of them together, kind of like train track sets. It has its own built in hills and we have one that runs through a box like a tunnel. We will buy more sets, not sure if we like it more than the cats. BUT, these motion senor toys are all garbage it seems, Or the designer thinks all cats are bruisers. Our kitties are scardy cats and have a soft touch they get the ball moving but I have to smack it to get the light to come on, same with those fancy Brand Name motion balls have to hit them hard. Cats .....cardboard box and a balled up piece of paper, ball up our money and let them play with that lol.
Our kitten and older cat both love this cat toy. It is challenging and keeps them entertained. So funny to watch when the light ball goes off, they can't seem to find the ball until it lights up again. They also like us to be on one end and push the ball over to them for even more interaction.
