Not Worth the Money!
By Hnf5483 on May 20, 2018
First of, I was so hoping that this fountain would interest my cat and be a nice addition to our home, sadly no. First off the filter is garbage, no where on the box or in the instructions does it say it is suppose to float and since it does float it is not actually filtering the water. Secondly it turned brown within 2 days (due to it floating near the surface) and it smells horrible. Thirdly, you have to fill it to the brim in order for the water to be able to work properly and then it is to much water to move and just ends up getting everywhere. Very poor design and not worth the money. I could probably get more use out of it as a garden water feature then as a fountain.

A healthy option and a favorite of all!
By KathieA on May 29, 2018
This fountain is a favorite of the cats---I just purchased another one. The tabby cat would 'play' in any fountain with 'streams' of water, so this style is perfect for him. The cats appear to be drinking more water with these fountains and prefer them over the bowls of water that are placed nearby. I use gallons of 'drinking water' to fill these, rather than our well water, and still use the filters, cleaning/replacing as recommended.

Worth every Lickin' Penny
By Tallgem on May 8, 2018
I have tried several and one of the Chewy reps suggested this unit. Great advice! Easy to clean, not too many crevices to hide mold or other nasty ookie pookies. Easy fill, easy clean and my finicky feline fur baby LOVES IT! I can't believe how much water he drinks now! Thank you Chewy Rep that placed this order for me! You ROCK!

No More Spilled Water
By Miko on Apr 23, 2018
After years of our cat spilling water we finally invested in this fountain. Our cat is very curious and we included him in the unboxing process. Letting him sniff everything as we opened it. That helped him get used to it and he took to it almost immediately. He hasn't spilled his water since! I am very happy with my purchase. No more spilled water, our cat is drinking fresh and clean water and he is drinking more frequently. I would absolutely recommend this product!

This was a great buy!
By Kirbie on Apr 2, 2018
I have two kitties and at first one was scared of it but after two days they both drink out of it fine! Was affordable and easy to assemble. Way better way for them to drink water! Highly recommend it!

Kitty Fountain
By fountain on May 31, 2018
Great product! My cat loves it even though he is older and over the playing with water phase. He's drinking a lot more water than he used to, which is great for the bladder issues.

Could have better flow and stronger quieter pump with rechargable battery backup for power outage! My cat is pickey and likes the fountain. It really could be better...

Not Quite What We Expected
By PetGuardian on Mar 14, 2018
I like this fountain for how simple, easy to keep clean, and quiet it is. However, I thought there would be more depth to the water on top. The shape of the assembled bowl/fountain is sloped at the top, like a cylinder sliced at a slight angle. The big rounded ring that sits on top kinda creates a small moat at the perimeter of the bowl and you can't just add more water to top it off, due to the one shorter edge of the rim. I don't necessarily think this is why our cat didn't like it. He was curious but he would sniff the edges and then walk away. Maybe he doesn't like the smell of plastic? It's also rather quiet, which is generally a good thing, but I think our cat needs to hear trickling water I like this fountain for how simple, easy to keep clean, and quiet it is. Nice concept, but poor execution
By ILoveChewy on Mar 9, 2018
**Pros: Quiet. No splashing water. Minimalist design. Affordable. Filter appears to be effective. **Cons: Pump not durable-quit after one day. Difficult to move when full since there are no hand grips, making it easy to make a mess. Water level is way too close to the top lip. Fountain head sits cockeyed-not level. **Though I wanted to like this waterer, I couldn't return it fast enough. I hope the manufacturer reworks the entire design-it needs it! >>>Kudos to Jasmine G.-she made my refund completely painless (she suggested that I donate the waterer to a local shelter rather than return it). For customer service, and great prices, Chewy.Com deserves a 10 out of 10. I look forward to doing **Pros: Quiet. No splashing water. Minimalist design. Affordable. BEST WATER FOUNTAIN EVER!!!!!
By Gigi on Mar 9, 2018
I have 4 beautiful cats, 2 older females around 16 years old, Ewok and Wookie, and a brother and sister about 4 years old. The male, Midnight, is short haired and his sister, Shadow has beautiful shades of grays and whites in her very thick fur, with tufts in her ears that curl up and out! I have had this fountain since 2012 and have loved every minute of it!! So far, I have not had to replace anything but the filters. In the past several months I have not been able to do much around my house due to illness. The fountain did not get cleaned for quite some time but was filled fairly regularly. Finally, it wasn't working quite like it should so I buckled up to clean it thoroughly. Finally, it wasn't working quite like it should so I buckled up to clean it thoroughly. I could not get the pump apart! Not wanting to break the plastic case, I finally submerged the whole pump in vinegar and let it sit overnight. The next day, using a thin paring knife, I was able to pry the 2 little covers off to expose the innards of the pump. I was shocked to find a thick coating of white stuff coating everything in there! Using an old toothbrush and very hot water mixed with a little DAWN dish washing soap, I was able to get it all off! Then, I used 2 Q Tips to get inside the little rotor thing and all the small corners to remove the rest. It took a while but was worth every minute It was rinsed thoroughly and refilled and my babies love it again!! I do need to mention that Wookie still would rather drink from the bathroom faucet.) THAT gets cleaned several times a day! My filters were also purchased from Chewy. … more
