How does it work and does it use batteries

The Massage Center has a gum stimulator, a ripple massager that helps scratch just the right itch, and an Accu-pressure mat for stimulating the paws. Also, it does not use batteries.
What are the base dimensions on this product ?

not recommended

Technically NOT a motorized massage toy, which advertising eluded to. My two cats were entertained for 5 minutes and have not revisited it since (even with the cat nip)

Not large enough

I hate to leave a bad review but this might be better if it was larger. Neither cat is interested. Wasted money.

Not as much fun as it looks.

My cat loves to rub his face on me, my book if I am reading or my laptop computer. I thought he would like this massage center. He is not at all interested in it. I used the powdered catnip that came with it. I rubbed it with raw catnip. I even put catnip oil on it. He is not interested. I wish someone could give me pointers on how to teach my cat to enjoy with this amazing toy.

All three of my cats LOVE it!

Huge hit with all my cats! As soon as I set it on the floor they were rubbing their faces and purring!

  • She fell asleep on it purring like crazy after rubbing her face on it for 20 minutes.

Hit or miss- know your cat.

I have two super seniors (20 yo). One used it a little bit when I put catnip on it but that's it. The other uses it constantly for the gum simulator. She LOVES it. She's always rubbed her teeth and gums on things so when I saw this, I thought she would like it. I originally got her the bigger version of this but since she primarily stays on my bed (in her heated bed), I got the smaller one so it doesn't take up as much room.

Great massager!

My cats love to rub their face and chin on everything. So I got this as an additional scratcher for them. They really do like it!

Awesome relaxing 4 adult Bengals

Both of my Bengal boys love their own massage center, each has one in a quiet section of the home. I am amazed watching them relax and rub on these, lol it looks like more fun than a sandbox. This is a good investment for some quiet days of relaxation indeed.

Recommended for Chewers

This toy gets 5 stars solely because of the fact that the little nub at the top is my cat's new favorite thing to chew. Before that he preferred plugs, mainly ones plugged into the wall. Now he ignores the death chewies and goes for this. He couldn't care less about the rest of the toy so I don't recommend this toy for a cat who doesn't chew on potentially deadly items and just needs something to play with.
