I got this for my big cat Jake. He mostly likes to be held and sleep all day, with intense F.R.A.P. (Frenetic Random Activity Period) once or twice a day. Too much saved energy but other toys did not interest him. THIS one however is different. Without catnip, this is HIS toy. He loves when we throw it right over his head so he can jump and snag, and will play with it for a long time by himself even. Easy to bat, bite, carry, pounce on, etc, and it takes the beating. Heavy for good tossing, but the hard core is noisy when he starts playing with it at night. 5 Stars because Jakey likes it and he gets good play and exercise out of it.
Love the feather tail!

My feline tends to destroy toys and the nose has already frayed within the first 30 seconds of interacting. Not bad, but she's only batted it around once or twice since and now it just sits in her toy box. Overall, I like some the "natural" components used in producing the toy (feathers, seagrass). The only thing I would change is the chunk of plastic inside the toy, which helps hold the mouse shape. I would prefer it if the toy was hollow - it would be even more eco-friendly.
We love this

Sophie says this is fun to throw around and kick plus rafia to chew makes it a five
Good catnip-free toy

I wouldn't say my cat is in love with this, but she does seem to like it. I think the texture is a draw, as it catches well on her claws and aids in flipping it around. Overall a nice addition to her toybox.
My cats love toys they can toss and flip around

I like this toy bc my kittens are entertained thoroughly. They carry it in their mouth and flip it around with ease.
He loved it!

As soon as I opened it, he started playing. He's 11 months old so he needed something to keep him busy, this is it! Played into the night and got up and started again. Feathers are gone now though but still works great.
It's the fav

You know how your cat has a favorite toy for 'X' days, then there's another favorite? This one doesn't seem to be going anywhere off the top of the list anytime soon, unless it gets destroyed (not much damage yet). But I will be buying a few backups, for sure.
Cats seem to like it

My oldest cat, 9 years old, was playing with it and the baby, 1 year old also liked it. They have claws and seemed to like the way the toy would stick a bit to their paws and then they would fling it across the room and then chase after it.
A hit with the cats

My cats both like to play with this toy. They hold it in their front paws and lick the feathers.

My cat loves feathers and has really big paws - normal toys get shredded by him. Although he was interested, he wouldn't touch it until I doused it in catnip. I just felt it should have come that way so I didn't have to reintroduce a toy after the fact.
