Combining contemporary shapes with stylish patterns, the Catit Style Patterned Cat Scratcher is a modern twist on conventional scratchers. A cat's need to scratch is instinctive. It helps them to sharpen and remove the dead outer layer of their claws, stretch and flex their bodies and work off energy. The Catit Style Patterned Cat Scratcher with catnip provides your cat with a corrugated scratching surface, while helping to protect your furniture from claw damage.

The Scratcher Strikes Back!
on Oct 19, 2021
Lucy is IN LOVE. with this. Like, for real. I have been meaning to get her a standing post to scratch on, but after a kitty friend was over with one of these, this was an easy no brainer. She loves it! Lounging and scratching and rolling around in the provided catnip. The only problem I have with it is that the catnip, when you put it on the board, gets EVERYWHERE. right through the holes. Very messy, but not too terrible to clean. Especially when your kitty loves it so much.
Best Lounger Ever

My Cats love this thing. They love laying around on this like they are the Queens and Kings of the house and when they aren't just laying around on it, they love scratching it to bits. It has lasted well over a year. They just love it.
Shorter than advertised
on Oct 31, 2021
I have purchased these a few times. This last time, I found that they are not the 19.5” long as advertised. They have been shortened and are only 17.5” long now. I hope Chewey will correct their description on their site, or better yet, get the manufacturer to make it the 19.5” it should be.
Kitten wasn't impressed

This is a lightweight piece of cardboard, as described. I bought it to give my kitten a variety of scratching and lounging surfaces. Of all the different scratchers and loungers I've bought, this was the only one for which my kitten had zero interest. It sat around and gathered dust for a couple of months before I decided to just trash it. Also, it came with a tiny baggie of catnip, which I assumed was for the lounger. But probably not. It must just be a bonus item to put inside of a toy? When I sprinkled it on the lounger it just fell through the holes to the floor. (A "duh" moment for me.) He seems to prefer sisal. And hammock loungers.
I do see that other cats seem to like it. So I do recommend the item, because you just don't know what your cat will like it until you buy it. At least this item is affordable! You don't have much to lose to just give it a try. Cats need a variety of surfaces that they're allowed to scratch on. I give 3 stars for being an affordable risk.… more

My cats love scratching on these & laying on them. Great for older cats who have arthritis or back problems because they won't have to stand up like with a scratching post. The catnip is a nice extra, but just be aware that because the scratcher is interwoven cardboard that is essentially full of holes, any catnip you sprinkle will fall all the way through the scratch pad & wind up on the surface below. Not a big deal, but just be aware if you don't want catnip all over your carpet.
Too Small Now!
on Sep 8, 2021
It’s unfortunate that this product is now so much smaller than it used to be. My cats love to scratch and lay on cardboard scratchers and they loved this bed in the past so much. Now they struggle to fit on it and to keep their bodies on it while they scratch so it doesn’t pull up off the ground. I have large cats (15 lbs. and 20 lbs.). This will probably still be a good product for you is you have little kitties, but it is not good for large cats. I’ll have to find a different product to buy in the future. I replace their cardboard scratchers every month or two as they wear out.

We all know that cats gotta scratch! This product is excellent for the price. It does not fall apart easily and comes with catnip. To clean, you just turn it over and all of the little pieces easily come off. Chewy always has the greatest items for the best prices!
No bottom on this!
on Oct 22, 2021
We got this for our kitten. It comes with catnip and the direction to put the catnip on the scratcher to attract the cat. But since it's just open on the bottom, all the catnip just falls through. A flawed design.
Hmmm.. not popular

4 kittens, 3 separate living spaces, 3 separate product items, zero interest..they looked great to me but for some reason they have no appeal.
