Description

Picky drinker? Not anymore! Your favorite friend's water bowl will look and sound like an inviting, bubbling brook when you use the Flower Pet Fountain by Catit. This fountain encourages your pal to drink more water, keeping her healthy and hydrated using a unique, customizable design. With three water flow settings, you can switch between a gentle flow of water, a bubbling top, or faucet-like streams. So, you can entice your fussy pet to drink. While she enjoys the seemingly never-ending flow of water, a triple-action filter removes magnesium, calcium, odors and debris. That's what we call flower power!

Key Benefits
  • Exclusive design provides 3 different water settings to entice selective drinkers—choose between a gentle flow, bubbling top or calm stream.
  • With a superior triple-action filter, this fountain keeps dirt, debris and other nasties out of your pal's water.
  • Easily remove and re-attach the flower to strengthen or lessen the bubble flow when in the "bubbling top" mode.
  • Fountain is simple to assemble and disassemble for cleaning, so there's less hassle for you and more irresistibly clean water for her.
  • Made of BPA-free materials to be extra-safe and non-toxic for your best bud.

Need a fresh start? Replacement filters are also available, so your Catit fountain is always ready to go.

Instructions

Wash and rinse fountain with a soft sponge and a non-abrasive cleanser. Rinse thoroughly, ensuring no soapy residue.

Remove the filter from the base and rinse. Do not wash the filter with soap. If filter contains excess debris or other foreign matter, replace it (replacement filters sold separately). The filter should be replaced every 3-4 weeks or when there are visible signs that the filter is saturated with foreign matter (debris, food, hair, etc.) or if the water flow is impeded. More frequent changes may be necessary due to indoor environmental and water conditions, as well as multiple pet use.

Clean pump every two weeks by removing the impeller cap and impeller. Remove any debris from the impeller and clean impeller well with cotton swab. Handle impeller with care.

If the pump makes noise, top up the water level in the pump chamber so it is fully submerged. Do not allow the pump to run dry. The pump must be immersed in water completely. This pump must never operate outside of water.

Fine if you don't care about the filter

    By on

My cat really likes the running water and drinking out of the flower part, and most of the time the motor is quiet enough that I don't notice it. The filter might as well not be there, though, because about every other day I have to take the motor apart because the impeller gets tangled with cat hair and makes loud clacking noises. I included a picture of the slot where the filter fits in, and you can see that there are tabs on the bottom that prevent the filter from sitting flush to the bottom, which lets water flow freely underneath it. I wish I had looked at the design before I bought it.

It seems fun for my cat

    By on

I really like the product but I thought it was priced a little higher than what it should be for the quality. It’s made of cheap flimsy plastic that makes up the bottom where water is held and the lid just sits on top of that. Doesn’t snap or latch into place. This makes it really easy for my cat to knock the cover off and access all of the water. This is messy. The flower that also sits on top is constantly knocked off by the cat and becomes a toy. The flower is optional though and not required for the fountain to work. The pump is a small standard water pump that seems ok but may be a bit noisy for some pets. My cat isn’t bothered by it though. While I haven’t been able to get my cat to I really like the product but I thought it was priced a little higher than what it should be for the quality. In the process he does become wet and ends up grooming the water off himself. … more

    Should've went with another brand

    By on

I have to refill this thing two or three times a day, every day. The thing gets so loud even when there is still plenty of water in it, it's like anything below totally full is too little water. My cat doesnt even use it that often so I dont know where the water goes. Also, there needs to be some kind of way for the top of snap and lock into place because my cat will scratch and paw at it all hours of the night and take the top off, and then pull the filter out. She even will knock the motor out of place as well. I got this to test out having a fountain in the house, I didnt want to spend 40-50$ on a fountain she wouldnt like. I probably should've bought a more expensive one.

    Love/Hate Relationship

    By on

My cats love this thing. They love to play with the flower on the top to the point that they'll knock the top off. I was getting so aggravated that I duct taped the top down (which is kinda a pain for cleaning and changing the filter) but now that I've done that they're more interested in drinking out of it then playing with it so that is nice. I don't catch them drinking out of the toilet nearly as often. Though it is small and I have to fill it every morning and evening to make sure it doesn't make a bunch of noise. It sure is noisy, even when it gets just slightly low. Make sure to order replacement filters right away because they will get grungey fast and that also makes them noisy. maybe she will get used to it

    By on

I thought she’d be fine with it because she drank a ton of water the first day once she got used to the sound. The second day she took off the top, pulled out the filter AND the pump while it was running. Today I put it all back together and she took off the top again within minutes. I’m still going to keep using it but only when I’m home to keep an eye on her.

Catit - Square fountain Too Noisy

    By on

I have the larger round Catit fountain and the smaller square one. I love the large one however the small one is way too noisy. The motor is very very loud and bothers everyone and so we don’t use it. I don’t know if it is a Problem with the motor or because it is a smaller fountain. I have had had other small fountains and they were not loud.

    Cats love it! But...

    By on

My Cats love this fountain. I also have the bigger one in my kitchen and both are great but, the small one I have to fill every day. If you have more than one cat or a small dog go for the bigger one. I have to fill the small one once or twice a day or it makes noise like it’s running out of water. The cats love both fountains and drink from them often. It took them a day or two to actually get accustomed to them, but worth every penny. Buy filters right away and change them when the water is foamy.

    Clean weekly at least!

    By on

I got it to have a clean source of filtered water. It still gets just as dirty and gunky as sitting water, maybe worse. I have been way too busy to ask them about this, but on the box it advertises 2 filters, and I only got one. I just used a cut out of my fish filter.(no rocks, soft and clean) This does not stay clean for more than a week.

    A never ending humming

    By on

My cats are slowly adjusting to the fountain, which is great! The motor, inside the fountain container has a rather loud humming noise, that never stops. Similar to a white noise. I think it bothers me much more, than it does the cats. Otherwise, I’m very content with this purchase.

    PUURRRFECT for single cat home!

    By on

I had the bigger version if this. THIS one is way more practical for single cat. It gets loud if the water is running low- the perfect alarm! **reason this is better than the bigger model for ONE cat. Because it holds less water and you have to refill it often (like once every other day), the water is constantly fresh. The bigger one needed to be filled like once a week, but I noticed little bugs would be on the filter and “mold” would start to grow at bottom because the water is “old”. **FRESH WATER is more important. or what is the point of having filtered water!
