Wood, Plant Fibers, Natural Clumping Agents
The natural clumping agents in this litter form tight clumps without sticking to the litter box or the scoop. This makes for easy scooping and cleaning. We recommend disposing of cat droppings in the waste bin, though our litter is perfectly flushable.

This product is a perfect. Unscented, when you open the box you just feel a nice, very light smell of freshly cutted tree. Holding odor perfectly. Clumping easily that make it easy to pick up. You can throw a piece in a garbage or flush it in the toilet. It's eco friendly. No dust. Yes there is a little tracking, but much less than other litters, dont make you scream when you accidentally step on a tiny grain and you can easily broom it out. Both of my cats love it and switch to this new litter with no problem. I wish I could have it for a long time ago
We ordered two boxes of CatIt litter and they were crawling with ants. still sitting on front porch waiting to open to see if we can even use. I have used this litter for years and this has never happened before. Love the litter not the ants!!
My 14 yo cat, Sam, is diabetic and asthmatic so my goal has always been to find a litter with the least amount of dust. The Hinocki wood litter I had been using suddenly became so dusty it was affecting his breathing as well as mine. And it was EVERYWHERE! Catit has 3 litters in its product lineup. The vanilla scented litter didn't mask urine odor at all and I could tell Sammie wasn't pleased with it either. Based on Catit's advertising that this wood litter was dust free, I gave it a try. I'm happy to say it is dust free and it doesn't cause asthma attacks in him and doesn't affect my allergies. The bag has a nice carry handle which is good because it is heavy which is why I don't lift the bag to pore litter into his litter pan - I scoop it. So far, this litter has been masking urine odor pretty well. Sam has 2 litter pans. One pan has the Catit litter and the other still has the old litter. Most of the time he uses the Catit litter. As a diabetic, Sam pees a lot and, thankfully, this litter clumps well. The biggest problem I have is that the litter breaks down into very small particles that do, from time to time, get on his black fur and around his face. I make a point to try to scoop out as much of the fine particles as I can about every other day just to keep it off him. To be clear, it's not dust. There is some tracking of this litter but I don't feel like it's a big problem. Overall, I like this litter mostly because it solves the dust problem and clumps well. Masking odor is not an issue like the Catit vanilla product.
Way better than the name brand stuff.
