pirate cat scratcher bed
This is not my first one of these , my cats love this bed for naps and play . It gets so much use they just wear them out
Disappointed
I have purchased many different scratchers and have generally been pleased. This one however would have been one of my favorites had the packaging not been done so poorly, they glued the label paper to scratcher insert and it was so thick and hard. I cannot remove it and my kitty will not lay in it because its hard and sharp in those places. Have tried to pull it off with tweezers and it will not budge. Will be throwing it away.
Well - it's ok.
It seems like a fine product, except for the glue that they used to glue the label onto the cardboard inside of the scratcher, which doesn't come off. It looks a little gross but is fine. However, for some reason, my cats don't like it and won't go in it, so I'm giving it away to someone else whose cat may not be so picky.

I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is so I'm glad I got the large. We have had it for 2 days now and my boy MyLow seems to enjoy it as a nap spot. Not even sure if my other cats had had a chance to scratch or lay in it. Lol, either way it seems to be a new favorite. Also how adorable is the pirate cat theme for it?!
Favorite buy ever!!!
I was a little nervous to purchase this one due to the price, but I think I need 2 more!!! My fat cats and small kittens all love this Barrel Scratcher. I even have had a mama cat feeding her babies in it when she finds it empty. They feel safe and secure in it, and it gets a regular dusting with their favorite catnip. Thank you Chewy for having such great variety of toys and cool stuff for my cats.

I just love my new scratcher box can...I needed a new one ..I have a sardine can and a cat head one that my mom has bought me from chewy before and I have scratched the all up!!!..so she bought me this can one and I love it...so if you have a friend like me that you are thinking to get this for ...believe me...Mr Prince..its the best !!!!
Awesome scratcher and cat bed
We have three cats and they all love this scratcher. They have room to get all the way in, turn around to scratch all sides, and they often nap in the barrel. It’s been a hit in our house!

My Two Cats Love This Barrel Scratcher!
The scratcher arrived on time and is overall a great product. The only reason that I deducted 1 star is because the exterior of the barrel was slightly dented and the label inside the barrel left glue in two spots on the scratcher that can't be removed without removing a small chunk of the glue. My cats don't notice and love sitting/sleeping in the barrel, and they have a great time scratching away. I have a few of the Catit Play Pirates products (highly recommend their feather toy bomb).
