Use golf ball as replacement ball
I bought a similar one of these (same brand) that was blue with hard plastic ridges in the middle. My cats didn't like that one (too hard), but love this red one with the softer scratch pad in the middle. Only took about 2 hours for my kitten to figure out how to remove the ball, and then carry it all over the house in her mouth and lose it. But I discovered an even better replacement ball - a golf ball! The golf ball fits in tighter than the original ball, so harder for cat to remove it, but still spins around the track great with no resistance. Kittens been trying to remove golf ball for 3 days and no luck, yay!
An amazing find!
My husband and I recently adopted a 5 month old Siamese Cat and she is full of energy. This toy was too perfect! Suki plays with this Pad and Ball toy all day. I highly recommend this toy!
Great! (but missing the bird spring)
My two young cats love this toy, however it is missing the little springy birdy thing and instead it came with a small bag of catnip. ? The cats love it without the little springy thing, but I bet they would have really loved it with the springy thing.

love hate relationship
my cats are OBSESSED with this toy but we have already lost 2 of the yellow balls - because of course we needed 2 of the toy - and really wish we could get replaceable inserts for the scratchers as we have one who likes to chew on them. i wish the balls were just a little more secure inside. one day we will find where they stash all of the balls but until then they just enjoy the toy without the balls.
Maggie LOVES this
I've had several of these in the past, but, my bigger cats destroyed them in record time. Maggie has been rehomed and now has this all to herself. She loves it!
Crazy playtime
I bought this for my kitten's first birthday. Sophia just loves it. She will sit in the middle and bat the ball until she makes herself dizzy. On a chill day she just lays next to it and gently swats at it. I think her favorite is getting it going really fast, jumping up on the couch, and then pouncing - where she cheats by laying across the track to stop it. And it's surprisingly quiet if she plays at night (unlike her jingle ball maze). I didn't install the little bee part, she would have destroyed that immediately (and tends to eat what she shreds).
Loose ball
One of my cats took out the ball and I can’t find it.Do you sell balls separately? Toy is not useable right now.
Rescue Cat's new toy
Our indoor rescue cat needs mental stimulation and physical activity. Midnight scratches the catdboard inset but rarely bats the ball or springy bird. I hope in time he'll become more interested in it.
