not sturdy but Yo loves it

The string became untied in minutes. (-2 stars) Design has been improved with a hole drilled into the pole, but it wasn’t well connected. After re-tying it, my kitten loves it!

Poorly put together

The first time my cat played with toy he broke the string from the wand, was connected to a spindly dowel rod with a staple. Dowel rod is too narrow to reattach to toy. No problem though, he loves it. He drags the raffia mouse around in his mouth and growls when other cats approach him

Falls apart

While this toy is cute, and my cat LOVED it, it fell apart within 10 minutes. First, the string came untied from the stick. Ok, easy enough to fix. After that, the entire raffia mouse started falling to pieces. This toy is not well made at all.

Yes the stick breaks easily, yes the string comes unattached even easier, but my cat LOVES this toy. Over several years and what seems like a million of these toys, nothing riles him up like they do.

opened the toy to play with my cats and the string broke off the stick and i couldn’t get it back through the hole. later i found the mouse broken off of the string as well as they were playing with it without the stick. low quality toy, i’ve bought cheaper toys that have lasted longer.

She's thirteen pounds and loves to run around the house with me or I'll sit in my chair dragging the mouse on the ground and lifting it up in the air as she chases, bounces on it, bats it with her paws, leaps in the air, smothers it under her chest. When I put the toy away she looks around the room for quite a while reflexing on the experience and hangs out in place it's at and wanting it to return so she can play again. Absolutely the best interactive, excerise toy for me and my indoor kitty to bound with. My cat always liked balls made of paper. The sound of this mouse is very special to her. I will have to store it in a place where she can't get to it or she'll chew the string in half.
