I didn’t buy these to go along with the wellness center. I had planned on securing them into the poles of the cat tree when I redid the sisal rope. My cat loves to chew on rubbery things so I thought these would be perfect, since it’s kind of it’s intended purpose… However, here lies my issue. These are just a hard plastic, not a tough, firm rubber/silicone material. When I see “gum stimulator”, I think of the rubbery gum stimulator pick things that we have for our teeth, so naturally, I thought between that and the look of them, that they were that sort of material. Like those hard rubber dog chew toys… Pretty misleading name. I can’t imagine hard plastic feeling good on teeth or gums!! So I guess if you know what you’re buying because you’re replacing, then you’re good to go.. but if you have other uses in mind like I did, then this review may be the one for you!
I was so pleased to find this gum stimulator replacement for the Senses Wellness Center. I have one kitty who chews on everything like a puppy. This stimulator works great and thank goodness Chewy has the replacements so I can keep him chewing happily day after day.
My girls love the wellness system, and with these refills I don't have to worry about replacing the whole unit. Works great for preventing tartar build up, and as a deterrent for the cat who chews my crocs!
