So, I have to say I'm pretty 50/50 on this product. I was looking for this thing everywhere and finally ordered it from Chewy. The bristles are MUCH stiffer than I expected. I was thinking this was a softer rubber or silicone brush, but it is a hard plastic. I also didn't realize that you can remove the brush & add catnip behind which I do really like & so do my fur babies!
I'd say overall it is a good product. My cat's don't use it quite as much as I'd hoped, but it sticks to the wall extremely well & does a pretty good job.
Not what I hoped

Saw how much cats in videos loved this but my cat didn't have the same reaction. We mounted it to the wall where she's been rubbing but she barely rubbed it at all. Maybe if the bristles were softer there might have been a better reaction but those bristles are hard! Bought two to put around the house but was disappointed so didn't even open the second one. Thankfully they weren't that expensive.
they use it everyday!

my cats loved rubbing on the corners of the walls so much it would start looking dirty. since i got two of these they use them literally everyday. the bristles are hard, but my cats love being brushed with actual brushes and they seem to have no problem with the texture. they love it! and the catnip feature is a major plus!
Great cat brush

Once of my cats loves this brush. My other cat likes it, if I encourage her. They are probably the only 2 cats that don't care for cat nip, so that doesn't attract them. But again, I'm very happy at least one cat seems to really enjoy it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the tape, which mentioned it wouldn't hurt my walls, was junk. It fell off after a few hours taking the paint with it. I reapplied the brush with some gorilla tape which is much stronger. So now it works better.
large and stiff

I have a cat who is always rubbing on corners, so when I saw these I thought they would be perfect. I was disappointed with how big and stiff they actually are. My cat is old and only enjoys gentle touch, but the prongs on these are very stiff and the item itself is so big and clunky that it looks funny on the corner of the wall.
Bristles need to be much softer.

Like many other reviewers, I thought the bristles were a softer rubber-like material. They are instead very stiff, sharp plastic. My cats want nothing to do with it, but they do like the little round heads on the bristles of my hair styling round brush.

Stickies that come with the product do not stay very well. But then again, it also tells you to put it up with nails or screws so that is what I will do. The cats are interested in it but haven’t quite figured out what is it ...
Depends on the cat...

I really had high hopes for this self groomer, but our cat just won't use it. I've tried swapping the catnip out, rubbing it onto the plastic, and even trying to treat train him to use it. I hope he eventually warms up to it, but he's probably just picky!
Took a while, now she likes it !

My 4yr old Phoebe loves being brushed, so I expected she’d love this. Didn’t touch it for several months. Half a year later, she is using it. Added extra adhesive as advised by a thoughtful person on this site. She still prefers the human touch and a softer brush. These are firm plastic spokes, rather than flexible bristles.

With 10 cats I thought these would be a BIG hit, as they always rubbing against something to scent it.. but unfortunately not one of them took to these, and I tried them in various places. Had bought 2 packages of them was so sure, but they be in the next donate bag for the pet shelter
