If you're looking for a treat ball that's tough for them to get food out of this is it. It only has one size opening, which when you rotate the center around to fill it isn't much bigger. Would have been nice if the opening you have to get the kibble or treats into was a bit larger. Spillage will happen. Other than that it seems pretty sturdy and there's no openings where they could get small canine teeth stuck in. So this would be good for cats kibble or treats as well as tiny to small dogs. Kibble has to be no bigger than a quarter inch across to fit through the opening.
Cats enjoyed it

Our two relatively playful kitties enjoyed this toy - so much so that it has rolled under something and I have yet to find it again. It is a good toy to encourage the cats to get moving and playing on their own during the day. I used a mix of their cat food with a few crunchy greenie cat treats inside and it worked well.
Great toy, treat dispenser

I love this thing, it works well but a little a bit slowly. My cat never got the concept that that there is a relationship between rolling it around and a treat would come out because it either took too long or she didn't notice it when the treat came out. Oh well she still loves to bat it around.
Not a great design

My cat needs to have two different kinds of dry food and I thought that putting her smaller kibble in this treat ball would help me portion it out for her. The problem is the small kibble gets jammed between the side of the ball and the inner spiral and she can't get all of it out. It is also impossible to figure out how to take the ball apart to clean it. I tried and was afraid I would break the plastic so gave up.
Best cat treat toy!

I was having a difficult time finding a toy that wouldn’t dump a lot of treats out at the same time, so I thought I’d order this and give it a try. I was NOT disappointed!!! The opening can be adjusted to a very specific size to accommodate pretty much any size treat (or crunchy food, like I put in mine), and thanks to the spiral thing in the middle, treats aren’t dispensed as frequently, which means more play time for my cats. I have a 16-year-old cat and a 6-year-old cat, and they both enjoy playing with this toy. This was a great purchase!
Hopeful and Pleased

I was worried my cat didn't like this at first but once he figured out how it works he rolls it around and empties it in no time. His normal dry food fits and other treats fits just fine. I bought to help keep my active cat busy.
Sweetie loves it

Sweetie use to always be hungry but I started putting her morning and evening meals in the Catit Treat Ball. Now she plays with the ball to get her food out and it takes her longer to eat. She has fun too.
Cat doesn't like toy, but she rarely does
on Aug 17, 2018
All the treats fell out instantly. This gave my cat no incentive to play with the toy. Also, the ball is large, and there is nothing engaging about the ball itself (no noise, lights, etc) to get her to want to swat at it.
Hard to clean and fill
on Jul 10, 2018
Does the job but a bit hard to clean and fill since you can’t open it up. Also unable to adjust the size of the holes to vary based on dry food size. The other treat holder allows us to fill easily because it opens in half and tightens

Panda loves this for the treats. I love it because it keeps her active. The treats don't dispense too easily, she has to work for it, keeping her active. I'm buying my second one, the first lasted over a year.
