This toy has been a great addition at my house. I have a very attention seeking, loud 13 year old cat. Now, instead of him following me around while I'm trying to make breakfast, I put some treats in his treat ball, and he plays with that while I get things done. And, once he's had his fill, he goes and takes a nap-- win-win! The hole is adjustable so you can alter the difficulty level of getting the treats out. I noticed some reviewers complaining that it needs really small treats, but I haven't had a problem with that; I use Cat Craves, Temptations, and Greenies, and they all work in it just fine.
Good for food motivated cats!

My cats are very food motivated and this is a great toy to get them to work for their snacks. One cat is more lazy in regard to smacking it around, but the other whacks it all over the kitchen! Very sturdy and even accommodates a larger size treat, so I use their kibble to keep them from getting too many treats.
My cat loves it but treats come out too quickly

My 4 month old kitten loves this and understood how it worked right away. My only complaint is the treats come out too quickly. He has all of the treats out within 10 minutes. I use it to keep him distracted so he doesn't jump on the counter when I'm cooking. I wish it kept him occupied longer.
Fun for Kitty

My kitten loves this ball and it is so much fun to watch her roll it around to get the treats out. She picked up on it right away, knew what to do to get them out. I'm glad I got this for her!
A bit small, food falls out too easily
on Nov 16, 2018
I don't hate this, but it's smaller than I thought it would be (maybe 1.5" in diameter) and also, the treats just constantly roll out so the cat doesn't have to do much work to get them out.
Perfect puzzle ball
on Sep 26, 2018
I had previously cut a few random holes in an empty 2 liter bottle to use as a puzzle toy for my cats. They loved it, but it was not pretty.
This ball is much cuter, less noisy, and rolls better. My cats are used to puzzle toys so had no trouble figuring it out once they saw me roll kibble out of it.
I haven't tried to clean it yet, but I'm thinking vinegar and bottle brushes will do the trick.
Bengal loves ball!
on Nov 3, 2018
My cat loves this ball. It keeps him occupied a long time. Way better than the mouse sold by a certain treat manufacturer (even after I had taped 2 out of the three holes shut to make it more challenging). Sturdy and easy to fill.
Much better than the others
on Nov 26, 2018
This Treat Ball is much better than ones I've bought prior. This one has a fill hole and you twist the cap to expose the dispense hole, it doesn't dump all the treats out at once!

I put dry cat food in the ball instead of treats... It is harder to get the food out than in most "treat balls", so extra work and more exercise for the cats
We love it

My cats love this thing. It will hold an entire 2oz bag of treats. it does take some work to get the treats to fall out so the cats actually have to work for it.
