The only thing better than enjoying a tasty treat is enjoying one you had to work for. Let your feline friends earn their rewards with the Catit Treat Ball Cat Toy. Load the ball up with treats and as your cat swats, bats, and pounces the ball a yummy surprise is released! The Catit Treat Ball Cat Toy is available in blue or pink.
Reduces feline obesity by making cats work for food.
Refillable cat treat dispenser.
Turn the lid fully closed, and it becomes a regular play ball.
I bought this to replace an egg-shaped treat dispenser and I much prefer that one. The cats seem to enjoy pushing this ball around, but filling it with food is sometimes frustrating. Because the lid cannot be popped off, you have to patiently pour food into a fairly small opening. I would also prefer more flexibility with the size of the opening in general -- treats and dry food come in a variety of sizes and there are some treats I can no longer use in this toy because they get stuck inside.
Great for feeding my chubby kitty
on May 20, 2019
I bought this after I saw another reviewer say they use it exclusively to feed their cats. My cat is incredibly obnoxious around meal times (and in the middle of the night when she wants a snack), so I bought her this and have been putting her meals in it. It did not take her long at all to figure out how to use it and it keeps her busy for longer than just eating from a bowl. I also like that it engages her and makes her work for her meals. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!
Good to Try

I am not disappointed in this product although my cat doesn’t use it. My cat doesn’t know how to do it, he will just stare when I shake it and smell the ball. He usually loves playing with balls, but this ball just seems to big for him to get interested and he doesn’t seem to figure out that the treats are coming out of it. If I try and show him on the small hole the treats hardly come out so he usually starts to find something else, and if I put it on the large whole a lot of treats come out at once when I push it so he will watch and as soon as they fall out just run to the treats and look for more or play with something else. I feel like depending on the cat this could be a great toy but II am not disappointed in this product although my cat doesn’t use it. Bought this for my kittens as babies and as newly adult cats they still love it and chase it (with the dogs) around the house. The treats I chose are teeth cleaning and fit nicely in this, it is good and stable construction. When it does die I will buy another!
Party Toy for My Kitty's

My FAMILY of cats love this thing. I can't keep it filled fast enough. I thought they were gonna break it slapping it around but it's very durable! I use controlled meals ....so that makes this full of treats "the GREAT HUNT"!
Great for slowly dispensing treats

Great for slowly dispensing treats. I have other cat treat dispenser is that pour them out pretty steady. My cats love them. I love this one as much as they do because the treats do not come out quite as fast as though wobble type.
Cat will take to it if he's hungry enough!

When I first got this my cat didn't take to it. He stubborned turned his nose up at the toy so I gave up and put the toy away. Then I found out he just wasn't hungry enough!
One random day I took out the toy again and left it with him for the whole day as his only source of food. by evening my husband came over and showed me an empty ball. I couldn't be more proud of him, and of the cat! He's been eating from it ever since and does not whine or beg for food. It's really cute the way he paws at the ball and collects his loot heartily.
love this toy for cats and puppies/small dogs!

I have two of these - one for the cat who is very good motivated, and the other for a small dog. They have held up and I’ve had them for 2 years! I put kibble in it (even for the cat!) and it gets used daily

We have 8 cats and they love love the treat ball. It is always being rolled around trying to have the treat fall out. Great toy and exercise for the cats especially the older ones. Everything I get from Chewy I have been very satisfied with and recommend them often to friends.
My kids are brats

I was so excited to get this, I thought finally, a toy they may actually engage with! But alas it was not meant to be. The girl (heathen that she is) totally ignored it, the boy has at least acknowledged its presence. It may take some time ( and probably catnip) to get these lazy kids interested. Kids these days are not selfstarters.
