Reduces feline obesity by making cats work for food
Refillable cat treat dispenser
Turn the lid fully closed, and it becomes a regular play ball
One opening is too small, the other too big. The larger opening can be reduced if you don't try to "click" it into the set positions. The two halves don't separate, so i'm not sure how well I can clean this yet. We have a similar product without the spiral inside - which makes it easier to fill and clean. I don't think the spiral adds any more of a challenge. The treats all end up by the opening at the same time anyway. I'll use this one until it gets too grungy, then I'll order a different style.
Cat has no interest in this toy

I thought this was a pretty clever idea. Well, the cat doesn't think so. He doesn't want anything to do with it. I don't know if it's because he finds the ball to be too heavy to play with or he's just too lazy to "work for his treat." My cat is happier playing with something small he just happened to find on the floor, playing under the rugs, and chasing his own tail.
my kitty likes it

I have 2 males kitties. 1 of them could care less, even if he's hungry. The other is fat and he loves to play with it. I fill it with his diet dry food. Only thing is, he doesn't play with it anymore. Instead, he's learned he can lay on the floor and roll it back and forth with the hole facing him and the food falls out and he eats it. No effort at all. So lazy.
Hard to open for arthritic hands...

Cats not too interested. I don't like the fact that all I had to say was the first sentence but I couldn't submit the review until I'd typed at least 50 characters. If I don't give a review, I keep getting emails to give reviews. These things move the "recommend" rating from a 9 to a 6. Otherwise, I have been pleased with the products and fast shipping.
A good starter food puzzle

My girl was initially skeptical about this toy when I took it out of the box, but by the end of the day had it more or less figured out and was rolling it all over my room.
I’ll probably be upgrading to something a bit more difficult for mine, but all in all I’d still say it’s a nice option for kitties who are new to food puzzles
Cats enjoyed it

Our two relatively playful kitties enjoyed this toy - so much so that it has rolled under something and I have yet to find it again. It is a good toy to encourage the cats to get moving and playing on their own during the day. I used a mix of their cat food with a few crunchy greenie cat treats inside and it worked well.
FUN! Cat loves it

I bought this to replace one treat ball I had that I left at my mom's house in another state. I put my cat's dry food in here and it keeps him happy playing with it so he doesn't just devour it and then puke it all up. I use a tablespoon to measure my cats food so its really easy to put the food in (just put the spoon opening flat against the ball opening). Its nice to be able to see how much food is in there as well--sometimes food does get stuck in between the side and the blue swirly thing but not enough to be a problem.
Will play for food.

This toy is great. It holds a lot of food and rolls well. However, the small hole you're supposed to leave open for the food to fall out of is too small for small food to fall out. I have to use the opening intended for filling. This helps and you can adjust the size. My girls love to get it.
My kitten loves it!

Got this because my kitten was eating too quickly. He loves it! It took him about 30 seconds to figure it out on the easiest setting, and now he gets all his meals in it and just happily rolls it around. The food comes out a little too easily with his kitten kibble, but once he switches to adult sized kibble it'll be perfect.
The downsides are it's a little hard to fill, but definitely worth it for the entertainment it gives him.
Fun way to keep them entertained and exercising while being rewarded!

I bought this for my mom’s cat who is maybe a little over a year old and she didn’t bother with it. But then my mom gave it back to me for my cat who is going to be 10 and he loves it.Of course he is a little chunk.
