WARNING: Not the right filter!

This seems to be not a Chewy issue but a manufacturer issue. I've ordered these before with no issues and these replacements ones this time around are not the same filters for the Catit flower petal water fountain. The ones I received this time have a plastic grated plate attached to some odd felt like material on top (that's loose and fuzzy), and doesn't even fit in the water fountain. Typically they are without the plastic attachment, and the felt (?) material is solid hard and it is supposed to fit perfectly within the green bowel to filter the water. I almost asked for a replacement in case this was a mishap with the order but then I noticed other ppl seem to have the same issue and This seems to be not a Chewy issue but a manufacturer issue. Do Not Last

The first filter I received with the purchase of the fountain actually did last 30 days. The replacement filters I bought lasted a week apiece. This is with regular rinsing and cleaning the tank. Extremely disappointing to pay 5 bucks a filter to only last a week. The filter clogs up and doesn’t allow the water to flow back in the tank which in turn causes water to run all over the floor. We have a whole home water filtration system so I know it’s a flawed design in the filter and not just extremely dirty water. I also keep the tank up off the floor on a step stool to minimize cat hair and debris floating in off the floor. Catit will have to do better or I’ll have to find a new fountain.

clogged the fountain and make water black

I bought set of 5 filters in the box. It clogged the fountain and make something inside the filter tainted the water and the inside of the plastic fountain into black. It does not seem to wash out. In case it was an defected item I opened up the new one after few days and I have the same issue. ALL 5 filters were defected like that!!! Seem like many other customers are having the same issue.

Black stuff after 8 days

So I was buying knock off filters for my Catit from a big online seller. Then suddenly the filter started getting black stuff inside as if the dark filter was leaking. So I switched to the Catit's brand on Chewy, and after 8 days the same thing happened. I don't know what this black stuff is. I always rinse the filter with running water before its first use so I know it's not that. I just changed out the third filter in 2 weeks.

Filters not like before

The last order of filters I received are not the same as previous. They don't last even a month and clog the flow of water after about a week and leave mold in the container and all the parts. I had to scrub with a clorox diluted solution and brush in all the crevices to clear the mold so my cat wouldn't get sick. Subpar product compared to original. Very disappointed in quality!!

great product and packaging

My kitten LOVES this fountain! She did try playing with it but I changed the water setting and she stopped right away. After I set it up next to her normal water bowl, she went straight to it and never went back to her normal bowl. Also, the box it comes in makes a cute little puzzle toy! I’d highly recommend this fountain and the effort it takes to set the box up. Phoebe loves both (:

I was looking everywhere for these filters and of course like everything else I'm needing for my pets chewy had it. I absolutely love ordering from Chewy and the filters work great. Everything I've purchased from Chewy has been absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend to anyone who has pets.

This is from my cats. LOL The filtered water taste so good we drink it up everyday now. We used to just sip every now and then. Our mommy has one on each floor so we don't have to go up and down for a nice fresh tasting drink. Whiskers, Mitsy and Buttons

Something changed

I’ve had no problem with these filters for years, but my most recent purchase has me convinced something has changed. The filters get dirty much faster and leave black residue in the base. My cat is drinking much less than usual despite me thoroughly cleaning and scrubbing every nook and cranny and changing the filters regularly. I use distilled bottled water too. I will have to find a new fountain

Didn’t work out for me

I ordered a filter that didn’t fit my cat’s fountain, they looked the same but were different brands. I contacted customer service and was sent a return label. I returned the filters over a week ago but have not received the promised refund. Very disappointed.
