why does you're product collect slime (ItsBull @@@@
Answer by UncleDanMay 04, 2022
It might be your water. When I lived in SC I would get a slimey film all on the inside. When I moved to Chicago a year ago I haven't had that problem since

These fountains are compatible with the Catit Fresh & Clear Stainless Steel Top Cat Drinking Fountain.

I noticed that you sell a 12-pack of filters for the flower fountain. It says Catit Triple Action 2.0. Are these the same filters as the 2-pack and 5-pack? Is there a difference because it says 2.0?
Answer by ChewyFeb 11, 2020
These filters are the same as the Catit 2.0 Flower Fountain Triple Action Water Filter.

Two Happier Owners

We rescued a teenager with long whiskers. Evidently, long whiskers are a problem for some kitties when eating and drinking. We fixed the eating by using flat ceramic plates, but until we ordered the fountain, our cat would run to the bathroom with us to drink running faucet water. That wasn't a problem if we were home. The next rescue watched the first cat, learned from him, and we then had 2 cats running into the bathroom for drinks. Both cats took to the fountain immediately! It doesn't matter if the flower is on top or not. What a blessing. We can now go on vacations without worrying if the cat sitter is able to give them drinks when they are thirsty. The filters look to be quite good too, so if the water can't be changed after running for 4-5 days, we feel it's still healthy. Don't hesitate to buy this fountain and filters.

filters work great

I purchased the 5 pack filters and I couldnt believe how much garbage is filtered out , they work great. I would recommend people who purchase water fountains to purchase these too.

What can I say- great fountain

Not much to say- I really like my Catit pet fountain and so do my cats. I'm glad that I can buy a larger pack of filters so that I don't have to keep buying one every month.

Catit Fountain Filter for Fountain

After about 2 weeks my girls are finally drinking from the Daisey fountain and are ready for the first filter cleaning. They love it without the Daisey flower on top the best!!! Jo

Fountain filters

I HIGHLY recommend these filters for your CatIt fountain! They do an excellent job keeping the water clean and fresh. Change them out monthly.

Very disappointed

These filters last me about 2 weeks. Then they won't allow the water through. I use bottled water and still the water sits on top of filter. I change and clean water weekly and still the filter backs up the water. Came down to a flooded kitchen floor one morning.

Kitty Crack

My cats LOVE this. I entice them by putting it on food they don't like. It gets them to eat at least some of that food. They adore these treats

Easy to use and remove

We really like using these filters for our cat fountains. Our dog sometimes sips from them and the added nasty to the fountains is cleared up quick by these filters.

Not sure if these are needed

I'm wondering if these are really needed. I thoroughly clean the fountain every week and stopped using these for a while. The reason being that they get a little slimy and discolored after the first week of using. They say to change them monthly. I rinse and rinse the filter but can't help but think that they are retaining sediments that they shouldn't.

Clog More Than They Used To

I've bought these filters for a bit more than a year now. A year ago, I had no issues with the filters clogging. In the last 8 months, the problems started. For reference, I use filtered water. Now the filter will not allow water through, and the water slow builds up and foams. I emailed Catit, and they suggested rinsing the filter and replacing the water once a week. I've been doing this, but my filter still foams up within a day of rinsing. The filter gives me about one week before it begins to foam and clog. I've tried using the fountain without filters (you just have to replace the water more) but they're unbearably loud.
