Voodoo and probably a dash of cat nip
Both my boys instantly loved it. Probably sparyed with some cat nip but I really don't care....and clearly neither did they. Probably not best for households with fat cats and can get a little tipsy when they're on the very top without another cat in the hammock.
Would love it to be bigger
This would be perfect if the platform and the basket were bigger. My cats wanted to love it but awkwardly turned this way and that trying to make it work. We were going to send it back when we realized that the baby loves the basket.
Great smaller cat tree
This is a great cat tree. I needed a little cat tree for the hall way. This was perfect for what I needed. It did almost knock over when my cat jumped to the top. But I think its because my cat is larger. I put it in the corner outside my door, now it's fine. She sleeps in it every night!
Favorite new tree
This tree was an instant hit with my cats. They love scratching their claws on it. And, two of the cats really like the hammock, while three other cats prefer the top platform. It was very easy to put together. One of my cats was instantly obsessed with the attached feather toy to the point of tipping over the entire tree, and dragging the tree thru the house with the feather in his mouth. I had to detach the feather toy because of this obsession. That's the only reason I took off a star - it was too easy for my 10-lb. cat to grab the feather, and tip over the tree. Since the detachment, the tree has stayed upright.
Worth the price
I just received the stand today so I will come back and update my review about usage. As of right now I think it got my moneys worth. My cats love cat stands and scratching posts so I’m sure they will like it. A few of them were sniffing it already. However, it did come with the feather torn off/detached. There was enough string for me to tie it back on but I doubt it will last long. Besides the feather toy not working, overall I am satisfied as of right now! I have 2 smaller cats about 7-8 pounds and another chunk nugget about 13 pounds. Hopefully my bigger baby doesn’t break it (lol) in the picture you will se Cadillac she’s about 7 pounds.
Our cat loves it.
She is happy in it. It took a couple days/ week to claim it and figure out it was her's she is an outdoor cat so she goes in it to warm up sometimes. She is 11 lbs. And still holds her but she doesn't go on the top so it mite be unstable for her if she does so ya.
Poorly Designed
I wouldn't recommend this cat stand the base is not stable and is in two pieces. As soon as I put it together my cat was extremely excited to jump on it and it immediately fell over. It may work for a small kitten but not an adult cat.
Good for small cats
My cat loved the feather toy, but she doesn't spend a ton of time with this. I think it's a bit too small for her. She's not big- about 10 pounds- but the perch and hammock aren't really big enough for her to lay on. The scratching post is also a little strange- she' can't seem to get her nails into it, so she doesn't use it often. Otherwise, it was easy to assemble and it's sturdy, so it might be a good choice for a small cat.
Wobbly on carpet
Would only recommend for use on non-carpeted spaces. Our tree is sturdy on other surfaces but wobbly on carpet. Low profile and easy to put together. Quality seems fine.
Great bang for buck
I have a smaller size cat so this is perfect for her. Just as pictured
